Disarming Americans

Because of the Second Amendment to the constitution of the United States, the very BASIS or ALL our laws, politicians can’t simply ban all guns in the hands of citizens. So they make the guns we have impossible to use. A gun is of no use without ammunition, and certain politicians argue that the Second Amendment does not apply to ammunition so they can ban ammunition of make ammunition impossible to obtain. In California you now must pass a background check to buy ammunition. A certain kind of politician wants desperately to disarm their citizens so they can “run roughshod” over them. So they “chip away” at our constitutional right to own and use a gun for self defense against those ILLEGAL guns in the hands of those who would do us ill. The basic flaw there is they are disarming the law-abiding, who are not the problem, while doing nothing about all the millions of ILLEGAL guns already out there. You do not disarm yourself in the face of an armed attack. Ask any military man to disarm and you’ll get a big laugh, because he knows the “other side” will not reciprocate, and will then “walk all over him.” The same is true in civilian life. As is being proved in Chicago every day, where some of the tightest anti-gun laws are in effect, gun crime is the highest in the nation, and growing. (80% Lowers)
