Beating A Dead Horse

Again. I’ve used this very headline before, but nobody seems to have noticed. But that’s what the anti-gun fools and their dupes are doing: beating the dead horse of gun control. Gun control has never worked to limit gun crime as promised. It has only made It has only made it worse. The keep making their favorite laws, creating “gun-free zones” using the idea that making a law against bringing guns into certain areas will keep those who wish to use guns for evil purposes out. Meanwhile, criminals and potential mass murderers SEEK OUT gun-free zones in which to commit their atrocities because they can be pretty sure the law-abiding people there will not be armed, and thus will be defenseless against them. They push their “background checks” and “gun buyback programs,” hoping against hope that one of those will actually DO something, and they don’t. But they keep hoping, and keep demanding lawmakers DO something. What, they don’t know, because there isn’t anything they can do, so long as they target the guns, rather than the people holding them. A gun is an inanimate object that can harm nobody until some fool picks it up and points it at somebody. They make it harder and harder for the law-abiding to get guns, making those people into “easy targets” for the criminals, who just IGNORE their laws. Then they make more of them and wonder why the law breakers keep disobeying them. The deficiency in this way of thinking IS that the very people they hope their laws stop just ignore their laws and get their guns illegally. And so on, and so on. (Just common sense)
