Four armed men burst into this man’s house and demanded money. The
homeowner said, “Okay,” and reached for the money—or so they
thought. What he WAS reaching for was his AR-15, which he pulled from
under his couch and instantly killed one of them. They fled in a hail
of gunfire, and their car crashed, not far away. One man was found
dead, inside, and the other taken to the hospital, where he died. One
survived and was wounded. He was found later being treated in a
hospital. This is the kind of thing that more thugs should run into,
as they go about their nefarious schemes to victimize honest people,
and take things away from the people who have earned them, much like
the government does with taxes. There
will now be three less gunmen out there to commit “gun crime,”
which is one way to reduce gun crime. Those
three gunmen will commit no more “gun crime.” If our politicians
were smart, they would realize that the way to self defense is to
allow the law-abiding to be armed, which is guaranteed by the
Constitution. Those who foster the making of laws that “infringe”
upon that right ought to be charged, and imprisoned. But they won’t
be, because the Founders failed to make it a punishable offense to
even TRY to “infringe” on that right. Pete
Butthead would call his gun a “weapon of war” and want to ban it,
which would have left this man defenseless against those armed
criminals, and probably dead.
