Guns Do Save Lives

Chicago likes to pass laws to DISARM their citizens and leave them defenseless against criminals, who do not obey ANY gun laws. Make all the laws you wish, but they will not be followed by the very people they are made to impede. The courts struck down several of their laws as unconstitutional, and that saved the life of a young woman, who would have been KILLED if she had had to follow such laws. Such organizations as the Second Amendment Foundation firmly support laws that put potential victims on an equal footing with armed criminals. Anti-gun fools scream and holler “bloody murder,” but those decisions allowed this young woman to stop a 19-year-old armed gunman from victimizing her, and possibly killing her by reversing those laws. This young woman is alive today because those laws were reversed. We keep telling the anti-gun fools that the way to self defense is NOT to disarm yourself, but they never listen. They are so determined to disarm the law-abiding, for whatever reason, that they can’t hear reason or logic. They are strangely silent when a criminal uses a gun, but “rise up in anger” when a law-abiding citizen uses a gun in self defense. They might even applaud this criminal’s family if they sue this woman for killing that criminal—which is not unusual in this nutty world. (Second Amendment Foundation)
