The NRA sees at least 30 years of a pro-gun Supreme Court, if Judge
Neil Gorsuch is approved by Congress. In a past case, he said, “The
Second Amendment protects an individual’s right to own firearms and
may not be infringed lightly.” "So
wrote U.S. Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch in United
States v. Miguel Games-Perez. That
case demonstrates why Judge Gorsuch is a worthy successor to Justice
Antonin Scalia."
He's right there, but not entirely right. The
right of all Americans to be armed shall not be infringed--PERIOD.
Lightly, or otherwise. But
that, and other decisions did provide clear evidence that Judge
Gorsuch would be a good choice for the Supreme Court, and the hatred
of the Democrats for him just cements that.
