I don't like to publish stories about how a private
citizen foiled a crime in progress with a gun, because they have
become so common. It's like “shooting fish in a barrel.” And
there are other sites who do that very well. But they never faze the
anti-gun fool crowd. They just ignore them and go right on saying it
never happens while it's happening, all around them. But this case
merits attention because this business owner who was legally armed,
saw a notice by the cops about this criminal, whom he recognized from
the cop's output, ”got the drop” on him, and therefore stopped a
real “crime spree.” The “takedown” was not perfect, as
noted in the article. But apparently the “bad guy” didn't know
the things noted. (Ammoland)
