They're “scratching their heads” today because so
many Washington State residents are flouting their new gun control
laws. They know they can't send so many people to jail; there aren't
enough jails, and they can't afford to build enough more to hold them
all. That's the problem when you pass an unconstitutional law that
everybody HATES. Too many people ignore it and then you have to
decide what to do about it. They'll probably find it necessary (for
some inane excuse) to repeal those laws, and their phony “reasons”
will have nothing to do with the fact that the people “have spoken”
and are not to be denied. Do you think other states will learn from
this and cut back on their unconstitutional gun laws? Not a chance.
The advent of intelligent lawmakers is unusual and you have to “slap
them in the face” with reality before they learn anything. And
mostly they don't learn, even then. (The Right to Bear)
