"Scotched 'Em" Again

The anti-gun crowd is trying everything they can think of to eliminate man's right to self defense and the ownership and use of guns with which to accomplish it. Now they're trying to change the makeup of ammunition to mess things up and create court cases. “The U. S. Court of appeals for the District of Columbia upheld the dismissal of the latest lawsuit brought by anti-hunting groups petitioning the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to issue regulations banning traditional ammunition with lead components, The refusal by the EPA to consider the petition was challenged by the anti-hunting petitioners in federal court in 2013.”  So now they've failed to hinder the ammunition we use, what's next? School Strip-Searches Children

At this school, in Gustine, Texas, they apparently have little regard for constitutionality. If they were to tell me to “drop my drawers,” I'd tell them to “go to hell.” But that's what they did to a bunch of elementary school children (male and female) because they “found some feces on the gym floor several times.” They thought maybe this way they could figure out who left it there. Never mind those children's right NOT to be subjected to such humiliation, especially without notification of the parents. What the hell ever made those “school officials” think they had the right to do such a thing is beyond me. Methinks maybe they have a “dictator” complex. In any case, “school officials” who would do such a thing should not only be FIRED on the spot, they should also be prosecuted for aggravated child abuse and jailed for a long time. Not telling the parents BEFORE this action should be a separate charge, (Eagle Rising)

They Want Her Fired

I guess the First Amendment isn't any good any more in the United States—at least, not to some people. Emily Miller, reporter for Fox affiliate WTTF spoke to a pro-gun group and criticized gun control. The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV) wants her FIRED for that. They say she “violated “journalistic ethics” by taking sides. “Citing the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), CSGV asserts that Miller should be fired from her job on the grounds that journalists should “act independently” by avoiding “conflicts of interest, real or perceived.” Strange that an outfit that “takes sides” every day should want her fired for doing so IN PRIVATE, not on the pages of a newspaper or on camera at Fox. As an American citizen, she is entitled to have her own opinion on things, and say so as ;long as it's not part of a news report. Something CSGV doesn't want to allow. I guess they think they're the only people who can spout one-sided lies as NEWS in the media. (Daily Caller)

Higher Insurance Rates

That's what the government wants for gun owners. Their “reasoning” is that owning a gun increases the likelihood of health problems. You can't make this stuff up, folks! In addition, they want to FORCE doctors to ask somebody who comes in with a broken arm (or something else) if he owns a gun. They say that not asking opens him up to “malpractice” as a way to intimidate him. And they want to make it a crime to lie about it, or not to answer. Of course, since the doctor has no way of knowing if you're telling the truth, you should LIE. They don't have the manpower or the time to verify every answer. For my part, I'd just tell the doctor it's none of his business (that qualifies as an answer, doesn't it?). They try everything they can to get around the Second Amendment, don't they? Don't let them intimidate you. If they can “get around” the Constitution, you can “get around” their stupid laws, as shown above. (Patriot Action Network)

Legislators Flummoxed

They're “scratching their heads” today because so many Washington State residents are flouting their new gun control laws. They know they can't send so many people to jail; there aren't enough jails, and they can't afford to build enough more to hold them all. That's the problem when you pass an unconstitutional law that everybody HATES. Too many people ignore it and then you have to decide what to do about it. They'll probably find it necessary (for some inane excuse) to repeal those laws, and their phony “reasons” will have nothing to do with the fact that the people “have spoken” and are not to be denied. Do you think other states will learn from this and cut back on their unconstitutional gun laws? Not a chance. The advent of intelligent lawmakers is unusual and you have to “slap them in the face” with reality before they learn anything. And mostly they don't learn, even then. (The Right to Bear)

"We're Frightened"

That's what Russel Brand says about Americans who fight to keep their constitutional right to own and use the means to self defense, a gun. Damn right! We ARE frightened. Frightened of being faced by an ILLEGALLY armed CRIMINAL while having nothing to use to defend ourselves. Frightened by Obama's “bending over forward” to accommodate Islamic terrorists, who have PROMISED to come here and kill more people. Meanwhile, he's bringing more and more of them here every day. I'M frightened by that prospect, and I want a GUN! Toledo's Getting Smart

They held a meeting about teaching teachers how to use a gun, preparatory to allowing them to bring their guns into school so as to be able to protect the children if somebody comes in to shoot the place up. Anti-gun fools tried to speak, but were rebuffed because they already knew the lies they wanted to tell. They said they “definitely had something to offer.” Yeah; registering guns and disarming people. Something that has never worked in the past, and will not work in the future. Toledo is beginning to realize that the ONLY answer to people with ILLEGAL guns is honest people with their OWN guns. If a shooter doesn't know who, if anybody there is armed, they may think twice about coming in and shooting up the school. And if they still do, somebody can SHOOT them. An armed, UNIFORMED cop is too easy to “take out” FIRST. But if they don't know who is armed, they can't do that. (Toledo Blade)

BATF Lies, Hides Evidence

In the case against a former agent, they tried so hard to convict him of SOMETHING—ANYTHING, that they lied and withheld evidence. So the judge BANNED seven government lawyers from any further actions in the case. “[T]he court … issued an order voiding the prior judgment based upon indications that the defendant [ATF], through its counsel, had committed fraud on the court,” [judge] Allegra wrote. “[F]raud on the court consists of conduct: 1. On the part of an officer of the court; 2. That is directed to the ‘judicial machinery’ itself; 3. That is intentionally false, willfully blind to the truth, or is in reckless disregard for the truth; 4. That is positive averment or is concealment when one is under duty to disclose; 5. That deceives the court.” It gets pretty bad when the GOVERNMENT engages in FRAUD to convict someone of something. (Gunalizer)

Treating Gun Owners Like Criminals

We usually make criminals out on bail wear ankle bracelets so we can see where they are, and where they've been. AG Holder wants to do that to GUN OWNERS, as if they were criminals, too. Never mind that REAL criminals won't be affected, since they don't obey ANY laws. He can't just ban guns, so he wants to make it as hard as possible on honest people to HAVE guns for self defense against ILLEGALLY armed criminals. I guess that's what you get when a criminal gets elected president, so he can appoint OTHER criminals to enforce the unconstitutional laws he passes unconstitutionally. This whole idea has (as gun grabbers' ideas usually do) a fatal flaw in that it will only affect HONEST people who own guns LEGALLY, while having no effect at all on real CRIMINALS, who don't OBEY laws. More Guns for Women

According to a recent Gallup Poll, gun ownership by women rose from 13% in 2005 to 23% in 2011, which shows that women are taking more and more responsibility for their own protection. According to the National shooting sports Foundation, 80% of gun retailers saw a higher rate of gun purchases by women between 2011 and 2012. “Sheriffs issued almost 97,000 new permits statewide in 2013 and more than 48,000 renewals, or about 145,000 total concealed carry permits. These numbers topped previous highs of 64,650 new permits and almost 77,000 total permits issued in 2012, according to statistics from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.” One police chief attributes this to the fact that women are considered by criminals to be “easy prey” and are more apt to be victims. Women, being “the weaker sex,” are likely to lose in a physical attack by a man, but a gun is well known as “the great equalizer.” (The Star-Beacon)

Nevada Billionaire: "Ban Gun Sales"

Elaine Winn, billionaire and owner of Wynn Resorts in Nevada, has joined Michael Bloomberg's campaign to ban all gun sales in Nevada. She will chair an organization that is working to pass a background check initiative that qualified for the Nevada ballot in 2016. “As with Washington state, the expansion of background checks in Nevada will effectively outlaw–after more than 224 years–the private sale of firearms; Americans have been selling firearms privately since the Second Amendment was ratified in 1791.“ As usual, former New York City Mayor Bloomberg is meddling in the business of other states, after having screwed up gun control laws in his own state for years. It is a known FACT to intelligent people that banning guns for honest people does NOTHING to stop, or even slow down the acquisition of guns by criminals and crazies, only providing more unarmed victims for them to prey on. But apparently Bloomberg and his “allies” aren't intelligent enough to realize that. (Breitbart)

Out of Business

Because of too tight gun laws. That's what a New York gun store owner says, as he closes his business after years of service to his community. He's taking his business to North Carolina, where they are a bit more “friendly” to gun owners and people who sell them. New York's “Safe Act” (Which is anything BUT “safe”), among other things, prohibits the sale of magazines holding more than ten rounds, while criminals are more and more being ILLEGALLY armed with what amount to “machine guns.” The gap in armament between honest people and CRIMINALS gets wider and wider as ignorant politicians make law after law to DISARM honest people so they can be unarmed victims of those criminals. These gun laws, far from PROTECTING Americans, leave them HELPLESS before the ILLEGALLY armed criminals and only gets them KILLED. What's WRONG With Them?

One thing that seems to be a solid thing is the complete IGNORANCE on the part of politicians and bureaucrats regarding guns. Most of them know NOTHING about them in the first place, yet they pretend to make laws regarding their ownership and use. Nothing seems to get through their thick skulls. Not reason, and not logic. Some of them even deny the very EXISTENCE of reason and logic so they don't have to deal with it. The very basic fact is, you don't defend yourself by DISARMING yourself—and that's what their “laws” do to honest, reliable people so there is NO WAY they can protect themselves against ILLEGALLY armed criminals without having their own guns. The gun grabbers say that if more people had guns we would have daily gun battles over parking spaces. But the actual fact is, as Robert Heinlein said, “An armed people is a polite people.” People don't “go wild” just because they have guns, and way too many gang-bangers have guns while honest people do not. The “wild west atmosphere” of which they speak is already here, with gang-bangers (with illegal guns) shooting up the landscape, not caring who gets caught in the cross-fire. The fact is, their laws do NOTHING to keep guns out of the hands of people who shouldn't have them, and only serve to get honest people killed because they're helpless against the ILLEGALLY armed criminals—and soon will have to deal with armed Islamic terrorists in the streets of America who just want to kill them. Blaming the NRA

One thing we know as a fact: liberals are WRONG. Whatever they think, they're wrong. That's why they're called LIBERALS. So now a liberal professor of politics at Occidental College has come out and blamed the National Rifle Association (NRA) for the killings of two cops in New York City. Never mind the killings were done by a deranged CRIMINAL who listened carefully to Al Sharpton when he said to “kill pigs!” Why doesn't he blame Sharpton? (I guess Al can do no wrong in the eyes of a liberal) What the NRA does is simply support our right to SELF DEFENSE and to own and carry the means to that, a gun. I guess to a liberal, that makes no difference. They think the NRA is responsible for ALL gun killings, anywhere in the world, so it MUST be so. It's what they think. It's illogical, but that makes no difference to a liberal. It's what they THINK, so it must be true! (Second Amendment Insider)

Badge of Honor

Bryant Gumbel hates the NRA, clear to the core. Which means NRA is doing what it's supposed to do, successfully: championing the Second Amendment and the right of American citizens to have the means of self-defense against ILLEGALLY armed criminals, a gun. Being hated by Gumbel is a “badge of honor” that says you're doing the job you're in existence to accomplish. Gumbel sprayed all in range when asked a simple question during an interview: “There are a few things I hate more than the NRA,” he said. “I mean truly. I think they’re pigs. I think they don’t care about human life. I think they are a curse upon the American landscape.” Like all anti-gun fools, Gumbel IGNORES common sense that says, “The way to self defense is NOT to disarm yourself.” And he blames the NRA for opposing the STUPID laws he supports. I hope I don't spray too many people when I say that the real PIG in this scenario is Gumbel. He's completely IGNORANT on the subject, but has strong views about it, like most liberals. .38 Caqliber Circumcision

Don't call this woman “grandma.” A holdup man made that mistake. He held up the convenience store where she worked. She gave him the money because he had a gun, but when he said, “Thanks, grandma,” she pulled out her gun and gave him a .38 caliber circumcision. She now has the best behaved kids in the neighborhood, and gang-bangers never bother her any more. We definitely need more like her out there. Make potential holdup men think twice before robbing them. He'll still get sex while in prison, but will only be a “receiver” because he has nothing to “give” with any more. I keep telling the fools who want to DISARM honest people while the criminals seem to get their guns easily that this is the wrong approach, but they don't listen. Maybe some day we'll get some INTELLIGENT politicians who will start punishing the USE of a gun in a crime rather than create more unarmed victims as they do, today. But I'm not holding my breath. Teens Killed Breaking and Entering

This home, owned by an elderly female, had been broken into several times before, and she was afraid. She had no way of knowing who was doing it, and was afraid they were going to hurt her next time. So she asked her neighbor for help. So when two men (they could not tell were teens) broke in AGAIN, he shot and killed them. The family of the teens whined about them being killed, since they were just “little boys.” Yeah, right! Seems to me they were doing “an adult thing” when they broke into a house to ROB it, and there is ALWAYS the chance they will be shot by the homeowner, no matter how young they are (in the dark, there's no way of telling). They put themselves in a dangerous place, and got themselves killed. Too bad. (The Right to Bear)

"Throw It In the Garbage"

That's what a New York sheriff tells people in his county about New York's “Safe Act,” which requires gun owners to recertify” their ownership registration every five years with the sheriff of their county, who is supposed to collate the info and send it to a new database the state is supposed to create. That's unconstitutional, on several fronts, beginning with the requirement to “recertify” every five years, through requiring the sheriff to “collate” the info and send it to a database created by the state. All this with NO compensation for the sheriff  for the $millions of dollars' worth of work. He advises people to throw the “invitations” sent them to do this “recertification” in the garbage, “where they belong.” And he tells them they will suffer NO consequences from this sheriff. Would that more sheriffs were this intelligent. (World Net Daily)

Gun Grabbers Use Lying "Report"

The report to which I refer talks about Vermont—a state whose total people killed is LESS than are killed in the City of Chicago before LUNCH on any given Saturday. It said that 126 guns are sold to felons or the MENTALLY ILL, just through THREE web sites. They did a “sting operation” where they offered 24 guns for sale and got 169 “takers, of which many of them were felons or mentally ill (though how they determined that, I don't know). All they established was that some prohibited people were INTERESTED in buying guns. But they have NO proof that a SINGLE gun was actually BOUGHT by any of these people though what they put out intimated they DID buy their guns. It's typical gun-grabber propaganda. Not true, but sworn to. These people have a sordid history of fabricating data, so NOTHING they say should be believed. (Bearing Arms)

Message to Ferguson, MO

Fists, can be a deadly threat. That's what a judge ruled in Miami, FL case. One of the factors is the SIZE of the attacker. But is still doesn't take a LARGE attacker for a fist to the head to be deadly, although when the attacker is significantly larger than the intended victim, this still applies. In the Ferguson, MO case, Michael Brown WAS significantly LARGER than that cop, and he was trying to get the cop's gun. That means the cop WAS justified in shooting to kill. You don't have to be holding a gun to be deadly, which is why the Grand Jury did not return a “true bill.” Neither do I think the feds should prosecute the cop for doing his job. He has already lost it, as well as his pension, to a police administration biased against him. If he ever works as a cop again, it will be far from Ferguson. (Gun Watch)

Turning to the States

Democrats know they aren't going to make much mileage in Congress with their USELESS anti-gun plans with Republicans in the majority. Most Republicans are known gun rights supporters. So they're going to turn to the states, hoping if they can con enough states (like Colorado) into passing their silly laws, they can force the hand of the feds) whose appointed bureaucrats are still firmly on their side) into going along with their fool notions. It's going to take a lot of work, on BOTH sides, to “do their thing.” Gun grabbers to get their fool laws passed, and gun rights people to put a stop to them. That means a lot of work for US, to be able to KEEP what the Constitution guarantees us. (The Right to Bear)

"Constitution Be Damned!"

That's what the governor's Advisory Commission that was formed after Sandy Hook to see what can be done to stop gun violence says. And they say it OPENLY. They want institute more restrictive gun laws, and they don't give a damn what the Constitution says. For this, each member who voted to back this up should be prosecuted. It's really too bad that the Founders did not prescribe a PENALTY for lawmakers who willfully violated the Constitution in making their laws. That's what these FOOLS are doing. “Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy’s Sandy Hook Advisory Commission want to institute onerous new gun laws and it has said it doesn’t care if the laws are unconstitutional.” It is this kind of lawmaker that the Constitution is DESIGNED to stop. But it cannot if it doesn't provide for PUNISHMENT for violations. They say it's "not for them" to decide questions of constitutionality. But it IS! If they don't consider constitutionality in making laws, they create all kinds of situations to enrich lawyers when "authorities" act illegally, while obeying an unconstitutional law. (Daily Caller)

"Sleepless In New York?

Don't go to the doctor seeking a “cure.” Your doctor MUST (by law) report that to “the authorities,” and “the authorities” will come and take your guns, using that as an EXCUSE, saying that proves you are “a danger to yourself, and others.” They're using that as an EXCUSE to take away as many guns as they can, since they can't just BAN guns because of the Second Amendment. This is how they “get around” the Constitution. People, we're being run by CON MEN, with Barack Hussein Obama the biggest con man of them all! I'd be willing to bet money that this is HIS idea! Gun Control Doesn't Work

The solution? More gun control! This is typical politician. When their ideass don't work, they do MORE of the same and say they're “doing something.” In “Sandy Hook,” where one of the most diabolical school shootings ever happened, AGAIN proving that gun control doesn't work, they're recommending even STRICTER gun control measures while “studying” yet MORE and stricter “gun control” that has never worked in the past, ad will not work in the future. Thus proving (again) that many of our politicians are INCOMPETENT. I can't believe how STUPID are the things they do while CLAIMING to be the “smartest people in the world.” They think we're just not smart enough to understand what they're doing. (The Patriot Post)

Gun Owning Is NOT Criminal!

In Austin, Texas, police chief Art Acevedo wants residents to “turn in” gun owners who are upset at the government after Larry McQuillams carried out a threat against the government (For WHAT?)? Is it a “crime” to be mad at the government and own a gun?) just because ONE crazy did it?. I have to ask: what is illegal about a gun owner who is mad at the government? I'M mad at the government, and I have no intention to do anything about it except write the truth for all to see. We keep getting told not to go after ALL Muslims because of the “extremists” who kill innocent people, but apparently the same thing doesn't apply to American citizens who are angry at the excesses of this government, recently, and happen to own a gun. They talk about “gun enthusiasts” as if just owning a gun made you a “gun enthusiast and a criminal.” That's the typical phony rhetoric engaged in by most of the gun grabbers. If I go to buy a gun, will I be seen by such cops as a “criminal,” subject to having my gun “confiscated” (stolen) unlawfully? Even though I will have NOT committed any “crime” (nor wiill I) except to have bought a gun? People like this police chief need to be FIRED and forever forbidden to hold ANY position where they may hurt innocent people because of their bias.(Truth and Action)

I Want A Gun!

Obama (and his cohorts) don't want me to have one because he's afraid when his people come to take what's mine, I'll shoot them. That's the BASIC reason why most politicians want to keep the populace unarmed, and therefore DEFENSELESS when criminals (including those wearing badges) come to rob us. His policies leave us WIDE OPEN for criminals, AND Islamic terrorists, who have SWORN to come here and kill as many of us as they can who don't “convert” to their phony “religion.” When one comes to me and tries to “convert” me, I want to have a gun so I can SHOOT him if he tries to kill me. I want to have a gun so I can DEFEND MYSELF and my family if ANYBODY comes to do us harm with their ILLEGAL guns. Obama's policies regarding Muslims scare the hell out of me. Every time he has a chance, he “rules” in THEIR FAVOR.

He is, in effect, INVITING them to “do their damndest,” and their “damndest” is really evil. I don't EVER want to be left defenseless when somebody (ANYBODY) comes to do me harm. The politicians say they're afraid of a “Wild West atmosphere” if they “allow” just anybody to have a gun. But they already have that, with HONEST people being defenseless against the ILLEGAL guns in the hands of CRIMINALS, who don't OBEY laws. They think the average person is IRRESPONSIBLE in the handling of guns, and that's STUPID. Cops carry guns, and for the most part they are RESPONSIBLE in their handling. So will honest, responsible citizens be responsible. I once had a “carry permit” in Indiana, and I never “went wild” and shot anybody. Neither will most responsible people. Irresponsible people already HAVE guns. They got them illegally. (Just common sense)

"Too Many Guns!"

That's what Liam Neeson, star of the “shoot-em-up” movie, “Taken,” says, even though his (and many other) movies feature actors shooting up the landscape. There may BE “too many guns” in this country, but they're mostly illegally in the hands of CRIMINALS, who don't obey the USELESS anti-gun laws being made today by liberals. We hear similar sentiments from other actors, who ALL star in such movies, promoting guns, while going out afterward, to decry guns, forgetting this important fact. NO amount of laws to keep guns out of the hands of criminals, crazies, and terrorists, will do so. It's too easy for them to get them, ILLEGALLY, and they DO. And this will ALWAYS be true. What we need is stronger laws to PUNISH illegal gun use and make criminals think twice before using a gun to commit a crime. Why Should I "Carry?"

The gun grabbers say there is no reason for the average “man on the street” to be able to carry a concealed weapon, but that's a LIE. There are many good reasons to carry a gun. First, CRIMINALS just about ALL carry ILLEGAL guns and the only real answer is to carry our own so we will not be defenseless. In one instance recently, two men broke into a home and put a gun to the head of a girl, figuring she'd be an “easy target.” She wasn't. Her boyfriend, who had grabbed his gun when he heard the commotion, shot one to death, and the other one is probably still running. Criminals today think they're the only ones armed, since ignorant politicians have seen to it that most honest people will NOT be armed. Criminals need to be UNSURE that their intended victims will not be armed. Second, more and more Islamic terrorists are coming here, determined to KILL us if we don't “convert” to their phony religion. And there are many malcontents already here who will join them. We NEED to have our own guns, with which to STAY ALIVE, as people do in Israel. My favorite scene is the Jewish woman, standing over a fallen Islamic terrorist (Palestinian), pumping bullets into his face. The Japanese refused to invade the American mainland for a simple reason, They said, “There will be a gun behind every blade of grass.” We need to instill the same fear in Islamic terrorists, and make them think twice before attacking us. Papa Johns Thinks Right

One of their delivery drivers shot a robber who tried to rob her at gunpoint. They have a policy that their employees NOT be armed while at work, but they are standing behind her. They say, “Potential robbers should know that not all our employees will be following this policy.” Somebody else (not sure whether he was with the original robber or not) jumped in her car and stole it during the robbery attempt and shooting and is still at large. The robber who was shot was arrested and taken to the hospital. He will be prosecuted after he recovers. It's too bad she wasn't a better shot.. Maybe there's be one less potential pizza delivery driver robber in the world if she was. Frankly, I think ALL policies keeping such employees unarmed in such a dangerous profession are wrong. And it's good that they recognized this in this case, even though they didn't change their policy. But what about the NEXT driver to be robbed, and maybe murdered? For my part, I'd WANT a gun so I would not be help;less in such a situation. (Fox News)

Gun Laws Don't Work!

The Paris killings at Charlie Hebdo prove conclusively that anti-gun laws don't do ANYTHING to keep criminals and crazies from getting guns. So what's their answer? More anti-gun laws, of course. This time they're going after ammunition. “On January 11, former UK Security Minister Admiral Lord West said the terror attack in Paris means ammunition controls ought to be added to the UK’s already strict gun controls.” If that doesn't prove the INCOMPETENCE of the people running things, nothing can. “On September 24, Breitbart News reported that gun control had made England the 'most violent country in Europe.' Strict gun controls were passed in that country in 1997, and the result was anything but the peace and tranquility the British people were promised. Instead, in 2009–twelve years after the gun control implementation–the Daily Mail reported that “the [UK] has a worse rate for all types of violence than the U.S. and even South Africa.” But this means nothing to the incompetent fools running things there. They STILL think making even tighter gun laws will solve their problems while every law they make makes the problem worse because they're going in the wrong direction. They'll never learn. They SAY It Won't Happen

The anti-gun fools say guns in the hands of the “average Joe” won't stop gun violence, and ignore evidence that they're WRONG. Here's yet another case for them to ignore. In Tulsa, OK, four men walked into a convenience store to rob it. How did the clerk know they were there to rob it, you ask? Maybe the gun in the hand of at least one of them was a clue. So he pulled his own gun and started shooting, killing two of them, one of which was wanted for many things, including murder. He did what the anti-gun fools say can't happen. Killing the Gun Business

Obama is working hard to turn banks against LEGAL gun businesses. He figures if they can't get financing, they will not be able to produce guns for people to buy. What he doesn't realize (in his IGNORANCE) is that HE will no longer be able to buy guns with which to defend himself against the revolution that is coming. He can't just BAN guns, because of the Second Amendment. So he attacks them from behind. He figures if the money dries up, they won't be able to MAKE guns to sell, so his problem of armed citizens will be solved. What he doesn't realize (in his abysmal ignorance) is that if he destroys the gun business in this country, there are many gun makers in other countries who will be happy to fill the vacuum he created. How Could This Happen?

Liberals tell us that LAWS will prevent people who shouldn't have them from getting guns. And a 14-year-old boy is one of those people. A boy that young shouldn't HAVE a gun, under ANY circumstances (in this day and age). But deputies in Florida found a LOADED gun on one, and a holster on his leg containing a fully-loaded magazine. I thought gun laws PREVENTED such things from happening! This is what I've been telling the fools who make such laws for a long time. But apparently, nobody is listening. Surprise, surprise! The fools know they don't work, but they persist in making these USELESS laws. The cops stopped him for running a red light on his bicycle and he reached for his gun. Frankly, he's lucky to be alive. They don't say if he was white or black, but in today's atmosphere, if he was black, many fools would EXPECT him to be shot. I don't know what he expected to do with that gun if he got it out, but that cop would have been in BIG trouble if he had shot a 14-year-old boy, armed and trying to kill HIM or not. "Need for Stricter Gun Control"

The first cops who showed up where 12 people were murdered at a magazine that had “insulted Islam: arrived on BICYCLES and were UNARMED. Meanwhile, the killers had ROCKET LAUNCHERS and Kalishnikovs. The cops had to FLEE when the “bad guys” came out and drove away. Which means those UNARMED cops were worth less than tits on a boar. The French are apparently where our liberals want OUR cops to be. Unarmed, and USELESS. The liberals just will NOT see reality; the reality that cops MUST be armed, and so must a majority of HONEST, reliable citizens, to fight the ILLEGALLY-armed CRIMINALS. Now the press is whining about “potential blowback” against Muslims (which there SHOULD be), both in France, and in America while NY Mayor De Blasio is ENCOURAGING the “blowback: against the COPS! I’m not saying Muslims ought to be assaulted, but I AM saying we should WATCH all Muslims closely. (Hot Air)

Another Day Lost

Well, I spent most of yesterday at the “computer hospital” while the tech deleted all the garbage that was making it act so stupid, doing everything BUT what I was telling it to do. When I'd tell it something to do, I couldn't depend on it doing what I said. Instead, it often did six OTHER things and really sent my blood pressure sky high. It's not perfect, even now. But mostly it is doing what I tell it to do and any minor problems, I can work around. Unfortunately, by the time he finished, and I got home, it was again too late for this old body to stay awake long enough to post. Most of the problems are over for now (I hope)..

HuffPo: Second Amendment "Laughable"

Actually, it’s that Huffpo fool that’s “laughable” if he doesn’t understand why the right to self defense and to own and carry the means to it is NOT “laughable,” and it is IMPORTANT. By saying it’s “laughable,” he is showing his own IGNORANCE. Somebody needs to put a gun in that writer’s nose and see how quickly he becomes PRO gun—at least for himself, as many anti-gun fools do now. People like Sen. Diane Feinstein, who is virulently anti-gun, but has a “carry” permit and CARRIES her own gun while not letting us "peons" do the same. When Supreme Court Justice Berger said, “[The Second Amendment] has been the subject of one of the greatest pieces of fraud, I repeat the word ‘fraud,’ on the American public by special interest groups I have ever seen in my lifetime,’” he means by the “ANTI-gun crowd in their intentional MISUNDERSTANDING of the mention of ORGANIZED militias, which did not even EXIST at the time it was written. Anti-Gun Control Growing

The results of THREE polls show that people are growing more and more AGAINST “gun control” as we now know it: disarming honest people while criminals (who obey NO laws) still get their guns. They’ve spent a LOT of money to push “gun control” while outfits like NRA have spent a lot less. Even so, they like to point out how MUCH NRA has spent to oppose them, even though it’s a lot LESS than they have spent to push their insanity. “Results of a new Pew Research poll show that the majority of Americans now oppose more gun control. Polls conducted by Gallup and CNN yielded similar results [Whether or not they like it. –RT]. Over the past twenty years, Americans’ opposition to gun control has been growing. Groups trying to push gun control have spent hundreds of millions of dollars in an effort to promote their agenda. In 2013, gun rights groups, including the NRA, spent less than one-seventh as much on television ads. Bear With Me

This new machine sometimes works and other times does six OTHER things than what I tell it to do. So I have to go through all the bother of setting up yet ANOTHER one This is getting very annoying. I'd like to get a NEW one, but I can't afford it. Fortunately I have a supplier who will work with me. If I can get it set up, I'll try to post this afternoon.

Even More Computer Problems

I TRIED to work with the old computer but it didn't work. So I sorrowfully told my computer guy to use it as a doorstop and got another one. Now I'm fighting the usual battle to get this new computer to work properly. I'm able to post today, but I won't know about tomorrow until tomorrow (I was able yesterday to open Yahoo and even send an e-mail. Then this morning it wouldn't recognize my password. Same with Blogger. I had to change my password with both and it SEEMS to be working now. But so far, this computer seems to be coming in and out in operating. I'll have to have it checked tomorrow if I don't get snowed in. Thanks for your patience (if you're still here).

Using Any Excuse

This guy is a veteran, and a former police officer. He went to his doctor for INSOMNIA. Under New York’s new “Safe Act,” that doctor had to report that to the cops whether or not he believed this man posed a danger to himself, or others. So the cops came and “confiscated” (stole) his guns, labeling him as a “danger” since he had trouble sleeping. The Police state is here, folks. Now they’re using such flimsy excuses as THIS to take guns away from honest, responsible citizens who have served their country in several ways. This is evidence of the coming of a police state and a dictatorship, Obama hopes is with HIM “in charge.” We MUST do anything we can to stop this slow TAKEOVER of power in this country. This is how Hitler did it, and how Hugo Chavez did it. The process works. Take power in little bites, and when those “little bites” become BIG bites, nobody can challenge you because you’re too well established. Then you can declare yourself “president for life” and nobosy will have the gonads to say, “NO.” (Last Resistance)

Supporting Second Amendment

Republican senatorial electee Martha McSally made history. With her election, the Republicans took over the Senate, for the first time in years. In addition, she now holds the seat once occupied by virulent anti-gun fool Gabby Giffords, who worked HARD for her defeat because she is NOT in favor of the kind of “gun laws” they’re making these days. Arizonans say the election that installed McSally in the seat showed that Arizonans have spoken on the subject of Second Amendment protection from anti-gun fools such as Giffords. It seems as though people like Giffords always go in the wrong direction when they talk about “gun control,” wanting to make laws that disarms honest people, while criminals, who obey NO laws, always manage to get their guns. A Gun In Church?

Anti-gun fools ask, “Why would anybody need a gun in church?” Which is a fool question, and the answer is simple. “It’s a place where a crazy shooter would not expect there to be a gun, so it’s a ‘gun-free zone’ to him, which means he can come in there and shoot it up without fear of being shot, himself. And because a crazy might well do so.” It has happened twice that I know of where there WAS somebody with a gun, who DID stop him from doing so. Once in Colorado springs, CO where a tiny woman was legally armed and shot the crazy shooter before he could kill a lot of people. He had already killed two at another church where there WAS nobody there with a gun, and one in the parking lot of this church. The other was this one, where the PASTOR was armed. A former employee was fired by the church and took umbrage to it. Both men had “carry permits,” which means normal “gun laws” would have done NOTHING to stop this shooting. “Time and time again, a ‘good guy with a gun’ defends himself or others and the national media is conspicuously silent. The left maintains a narrative that guns create violence, but they seldom remember to note the many, many lives saved by guns each and every day in America.” (TPNN) Which means they are BIASED in favor of Obama’s wish to DISARM the people of this country so he can “have his way” with them. What's the NAACP "Solution?"

"In the wake of the recent shootings of two New York City police officers, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) has issued a press release calling for stronger gun control laws. It also called for greater attention to the problem of mental illness. The group asked that caution be taken in trying to connect the murder of the officers to the local and national anti-police protests that have taken place since the deaths of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and Eric Garner in Staten Island, New York, saying: "While some may suggest a causal link between these killings and the recent protests and activism focused on the serious issue of police violence against unarmed African-Americans, we caution against escalating an already tense national state through rumor and conjecture." What a LOAD of bulldung THAT is! This furor STARTED with those two events! And what do they recommend? More "gun control," the very thing that caused it all! People just can't seem to grasp the concept that DISARMING most Americans can only make things WORSE by allowing CRIMINALS, who obey NO laws, to be the only ones on the streets carrying guns. The NAACP just can't understand the FACT that most "gun violence" is CREATED by blacks, while blacks are only 11% of the population. Computer Down Again (Still)

My computer went down AGAIN Wednesday, and had to be “fixed” AGAIN. When it was done. It was too late for an old man to stay up and update blogs. Just so you know, the computer is showing signs of not being “fixed” yet. I’ll stay with it as long as I can, and if it gets worse, it’s “replacement time.” Remember, this is NOT a large, and multi-peopled organization. It’s just one guy: me, and all expenses come out of my not very deep pockets. Now my television is out of whack, TOO. Good thing I get my news elsewhere.

Admit Where They Went Wrong

Australian politicians (some of them, anyway) are smarter than ours. Austalian Senator David Leyonhjelm (puff, puff) says “Our anti-gun laws have made us a nation of victims.” I don’t know if he was for or against those gun laws before, but he’s “smartening up” now. Regarding the recent hostage-taking and murders in an Australian restaurant, he said, “If someone in that restaurant had had a gun, they could have saved some lives.” This was said by a member of the Australian Liberal Democratic Party. He said further, “It would have been illegal for them to have a knife, a stick, a pepper spray, a personal Taser, mace, anything like that for self-defense…To turn an entire population into a nation of victims is just unforgivable.” He was also heard to say, “He couldn’t have known if somebody there had a gun.” That’s my entire argument in favor of ELIMINATING laws that DISARM citizens and makes them into unarmed victims. Other politicians keep saying e should concentrate on how the shooter GOT his gun. We all know he got it ILLEGALLY, breaking their precious gun-control laws. Which again shows they DON’T WORK. Liberals in both countries are DETERMINED to disarm EVERYBODY, and they don’t care how many people get KILLED in the process. (Second Amendment Insider)

He Had A GUN!

Robbers are pretty arrogant. These robbers forced their way into this elderly person’s home and pistol-whipped a 62-year-old man. Then they ransacked their home, looking for money, gold, “weed” and jewelry. They made a pile of things they wanted to steal and went out to bring their car up. The man had freed himself and his wife (whom the crooks pulled out of the bathtub naked) and got his gun, then locked himself and his wife in the bedroom. When the arrogant robbers (who had left nobody to guard them) came back, he warned them if they forced their way into the bedroom, they’d be shot. Apparently they didn’t believe him until his bullets started flying as they broke the bedroom door in. He killed one and the other two fled. One gave himself up later. The third “lit out for the tall timber” and hasn’t been seen, nor heard from since. It might have been a very different result if this man had not had a gun. But the anti-gun fools keep insisting otherwise. They think we are so incompetent we'll probably shoot ourselves--or give the gun to the bad guy who will do it for us.(The Right to Bear)

Sorry About Yesterday

I’m 77, and some days aren’t as good as others. Well, you did get an extra day’s posts on New Year’s Eve, since I couldn’t stop. I was like a truck being cut off by a car and running over it. I’m thinking about taking Sunday off, anyway. I’ll let you know.

Cops Shouldn't Shoot Back

Criminals are incensed that a cop in Berkely, MO, another St. Louis suburb, would actually SHOOT a suspect who pointed a gun at him. I guess they think he should just sit there and let that thug KILL him. Emotions over what turned out to be a “righteous killing” in Ferguson have “boiled over” and people are now getting mad when a cop shoots a criminal who points a gun at him. This is NOT a case of a cop “targeting” a black man. It is a case of a cop defending himself against being MURDERED by an armed criminal. It’s easy to not get shot by a cop. Don’t point a gun at him, and don’t try and overpower him if you’re bigger than he is. Those who do, get just what they deserve: a bullet or two. (Guns‘n’ Freedom)

They'll Probably Be Charged

In Chicago, you’d better be careful. If you try and defend yourself from armed criminals, YOU may be charged with a crime, unless you have “jumped through all the hoops” required to get a “carry permit.” The story doesn’t say if the two store clerks were legally armed, but I’d guess they were, since they haven’t yet been charged with a crime (yet) while defending themselves. Remember, Mayor Rahm Emmanuel thinks only HE should have the right to self-defense. He can afford to hire it (with OUR money). Usually, convenience store workers (who are the most likely to be robbed, especially on the night shift) are barred from being armed, by COMPANY policy if not by law. If so in this case, these guys are in a lot of trouble for defending themselves. (Guns ‘n’ Freedom)

Family Outraged

He was holding a gun to the head of a man who was on his knees begging for his life when a bystander, who was legally armed, told him to drop his gun. He turned to shoot the man, who shot him five times. The criminal’s family is “incensed” that somebody who “didn’t have a gun pointed at HIS head” would shoot their boy. But that’s a LIE. He was turning to shoot the “good Samaritan” when shot. He was NOT killed, even though shot five times. If I had been shooting him, he’d be dead. It amazes me how STUPID some people could be. And this family fits that description. Their family member should have realized that the criminal isn’t always the only person around who is armed when he threatened the life of that clerk after already performing one successful armed robbery elsewhere that day. Frankly, I think ALL armed robbers should be SHOT when, and where found. And those who shoot them should NOT “shoot to wound.” (Guns ‘n’ Freedom)

Targeting Gun Owners?

Maryland cops stopped a man and his family and treated them like criminals, separating them in different police cars, while they conducted an ILLEGAL search of their car, looking for the gun they KNEW he owned. Unfortunately for them (the cops), he had left it at home, knowing that Maryland does not recognize the gun rights of other states. An “internal review” concluded that the stop was completely legal (in spite of the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States) and did not violate police protocols. How stupid ARE these people? What kind of fool “protocols” do they have that allows them to openly violate several constitutional provisions in their effort to find this legally-owned gun? How did they know he OWNED a gun, anyway? Were they warned in advance and did they “target” him as he passed through the state? This whole thing is VERY suspicious. Evidence (seen in other stops involving the same cop) shows that Maryland “targets” Florida drivers for extensive illegal searches, hunting for the guns they LAWFULLY own in Florida so they can “confiscate” (steal) them if they find them. Gun Saves Lives

Anybody who argues that somebody with a gun in the crowd cannot stop somebody who is insane from killing people need to see this. In Israel, where you can easily find Jews to kill, a Palestinian teen went, specifically to kill Jews. He went into a market and commenced stabbing people. Then a member of the security staff for Benjamin Netanyahu, who was off duty and shopping there, shot him and ended his attack before he could kill anybody. This is an indictment also of those who say we should let Muslims come into our country “willy-nilly.” Because they go where their “enemies” are. And their “enemies” are ANYBODY who does not believe the way they dictate. There is really no way to tell which Muslims are “peaceful” and just want to live their lives, and those who are just waiting for a chance to kill as many “unbelievers” as possible. Gun Control Works?

Venezuela has COMPLETE gun control. NOBODY, except cops and other government agents can have guns, legally. But, as usual, that doesn’t stop criminals, who obey NO laws, from getting their guns illegally. Consequently, Venezuela is the most dangerous country in the world when it comes to “gun violence.” Complete gun control works, huh? Gun grabbers say the “availability of guns” makes America one of the most violent countries in the world, but Venezuela, with almost TOTAL gun control,” is TWENTY times worse, with a country only about the size of Texas. This is so typical of how the gun grabbers twist the facts to prove their LIES that I shouldn’t even have to say it. By the way: America is near the BOTTOM of the lost of dangerous countries.
