Pass an unconstitutional law
and enforce it vigorously until somebody gets enough money and support to go to the courts
and have it declared so. That’s what they did in Sunnyvale, California
recently. Their ordinance is patently unconstitutional, but they’ll enforce it
until told by the courts to stop. And those injured by it will remain injured.
Nobody will be punished for that because there is no punishment for violating
the Constitution except having your law declared unconstitutional. So foolish
politicians pass unconstitutional laws somewhere in the United States every day. A law should be made immediately removing such politicians who introduce
unconstitutional laws from office immediately with no recourse. But that will
never happen because it is those politicians who will have to vote it into law.
