The Power to Say "No"

The Second Amendment makes no provision for an outfit like NICS to “approve or disapprove” an American citizen’s RIGHT to buy and use a gun, for whatever reason. The Second Amendment clearly states that, “[T]he right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” It makes no provision for background checks, which could, and sometimes does, form that infringement They SAY background checks keep ”the wrong people” from getting guns. It does NOT. People who wish do do ill with their guns do not go to a gun store to buy that gun unless that gun store sells guns “under the table.” And NICS is supposed to destroy the record of that purchaser’s name after a few days, and if you believe they do, I have a wonderful bridge in Brooklyn I’d like to sell you. If caught, they would just blame it on “bureaucratic inefficiency.” Add to that the fact that having the power to say “no” is also not in the Constitution. Criminals will always be able to get their guns, so it’s foolish to prevent honest people from getting guns with which to defend themselves. That only gets them killed by criminals with their illegal guns. Why the anti-gun fools can’t see that, I don’t know. I guess they just don’t care. (Just common sense)

Back to the Sixties

A recent Washington Post article thinks the way to “gun safety” is to revert to the loose gun laws of the sixties where you could buy a gun through the mail without any problem. They might be onto something there. Of course, like most anti-gun fools, the writer thinks the idea that the government guarantees you the right to be armed for self defense is a “NRA construct.” It is NOT. The Second Amendment says clearly, that “[T]he right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” That’s not something the NRA dreamed up, but it IS something they fully support, and fight for, in spite of the ignorant brayings of the anti-gun fools. I call them fools because they have to know their anti-gun laws do NOTHING to stem gun crime and, instead, promote it by disarming the law-abiding, making them “easy targets” for criminals, who usually are using ILLEGAL guns. They assume the criminals get their guns legally, and stand for background checks. They do not. They get them any way they can to AVOID having to get them legally and stand for a background check. Their laws therefore only apply to LEGAL gun owners, who are usually NOT the problem. But they keep making them, over and over again. (Washington Post)

A Sacraficial Lamb

That appears to be what Kyle Rittenhouse is. He killed two attacking thugs and wounded another in a clear case of self defense. But the liberals aren’t buying it, even though there is unedited video of it happening, and it was clear that he would have been seriously injured, maybe killed unless he shot those thugs. But the liberals not only filed murder and attempted murder charges against him, they are now trying to poison the potential jury pool against him. This is clearly a “legal lynching” by liberals who are sacrificing him to their narrative, KNOWING he is guilty of NO crime except maybe that of being in possession of a gun at 17. Which does NOT warrant a murder charge and maybe a death sentence of an innocent young man. This gun control out of control. Punish the innocent and ignore the crimes of the guilty. Get rid of the very concept of self defense—which I am now convinced is the long-term goal of the anti-gun fools. This is just one of the many cases I’ve seen of liberals charging innocent people of murder when they kill obvious thugs who are out to kill them. (Gun Free Zone)

Leftist Policies At Fault

Andrew Pollack, whose daughter, Willow, was murdered along with others, at the Stoneman Douglas High School, in Parkland, Florida. He rightly rejects the idea that anti-gun laws will, in any way, prevent such shootings, in the future. What will prevent them is actually PUNISHING students for their criminal acts instead of refusing to punish them to “reduce juvenile arrests.” You don’t “reduce crime” by refusing to punish the criminals. The shooter in Parkland PASSED a “background check” when he bought the gun he used in that massacre, because the school ignored previous criminal acts, so his record was clear, and he was able to pass that background check. Refusing to punish criminality among students to “reduce juvenile arrests” is a left-wing idea, and CONTRIBUTES to law-breaking, including mass shootings. Punishing student law-breakers is a good start, but allowing legally-armed teachers and other staff to bring their guns to school would be a good thing, too. But anti-gun fools will not hear of that, while they remain defenseless when somebody comes in and starts killing their students. Their ideas haven’t worked, so why not try something that WOULD? I've Said It Before

Many times. And I’ll keep saying it until somebody listens. Gun control is a useless endeavor because those that need to be stopped just ignore them and get their guns illegally, while the honest people are inhibited in their ability to get guns to defend themselves against illegal gun users, making them “easy targets” for the criminals, who don’t bother to obey any laws, much less laws that say they can’t get the tools of their “trade.” this means their laws don’t REDUCE gun crime, it INCREASES it. My job is a futile one, too. Because no matter how many facts I bring to the table, nobody’s listening. Do you know how frustrating that can be? But I’ll keep doing it because one day, somebody will be listening, and will take note. And DO something. Not just make useless, unenforceable laws nobody obeys while they kill people with their illegal guns. Find something that will WORK. And “getting legal guns off the street” is NOT the answer. We need to deal with the PEOPLE who USE those illegal guns. (Just common sense)

Chicago: 87 Shot; 17 Dead

That’s a horrible headline isn’t it? But it’s routine in Chicago, which has very tight anti-gun laws on the books. Of the 87, three were CHILDREN! And I don’t mean teenage gang members, either. Children at age 7 and younger who were just caught in the crossfire as one gang shot up a family belonging to another gang. Mayor Lightbrain has no idea how to put a stop to this carnage, so she just wants to make even more of those ineffective, useless laws that haven’t ever stopped a single shooting death. Like most anti-gun fools, she blames the gun, and not the shooter. It’s not the gun. It’s the PEOPLE holding the gun that must be controlled. But people like Lightbrain don’t know that. She isn’t smart enough, it seems. The numbers keep growing in Chicago while the Chicago politicians keep blaming sources OUTSIDE Chicago for their “gun problem.” Of course, that’s an easy excuse, since unless the gun is MADE in Chicago, it MUST “come from outside.” Guns always come from somewhere else. Minneapolis Crime Spikes!

Remember what I said about what would happen if you took the cops out of the equation? Well, they did it. The fools sitting on their City Council voted unanimously to disband their police department. And crime predictably is out of control. A woman was beaten and robbed in a store parking lot and their security didn’t call the cops because there were no cops to call. It was up to that security officer to help her, and he did what he could—which was not much. Criminals who do these things are never punished, so they’re going to just take what they want, and anybody who objects will be beaten or murdered. Those fool Minneapolis politicians Should be removed from office for incompetence, then sued out of their socks by the citizens. Better yet, put them out on the street to be victimized by those criminals they have helped so much. If they can’t see the error of their ways by now, they should be removed from office and barred from ever being able to hold public office again. At the very least. And if they are sued, the amounts sued for should be financially crippling to them. The citizens should go out and get their own guns and to hell with legality. With no cops, who is going to do anything about it. Then you’ll truly have the “wild west atmosphere” the anti-gun fools talk about so much. (Breitbart)

The Power to Say "No"

The Second Amendment gives all Americans the undeniable RIGHT to “bear arms.” It does not specify what “arms” we may bear, of under what rules. But today’s limpid bureaucrats and politicos think they can “regulate” them out of existence. So they first apply the “need” for a license to be armed, a specific violation of the Constitution, which dictates the law. Under the Second, no such license should ever be required because the power to license gives the government the power to say “no.” And the government should have no such power. Yes, allowing free ownership and use of a gun means criminals will be able to get guns legally, too. But why would they? They can get them much easier illegally. Or just steal them. You cannot stop criminals from getting guns by making laws to limit the purchase and use of guns by honest, law-abiding people. It can’t be done, even if it were not allowed under the Constitution. Criminals will always get their guns, and there are millions of illegal guns already in the hands of criminals, crazies, and now Islamic extremists. I know why politicians favor gun control. They fear an armed populace. But the private citizens who favor it are either in for the money, or they’ve “bought the BS” put out by the politicians. (Just common sense)

Godawful Damned Fools!

That’s my description of ANYBODY who wants to defund or abolish the police, and/or get rid of prisons altogether, turning criminals loose to prey on the rest of us with impunity. Because without the police there to get between us and the criminals, and the prisons in which to keep them, we’re going to descent into a very dangerous world where those who have most guns will rule. And the criminals always have the most guns, no matter what the laws say. The movement to eliminate the cops and prisons can only benefit one group of people, and that is the criminal element. Anybody who favors eliminating the cops and prisons is either a criminal or a damned fool, one or the other, maybe both. Personally, I don’t want to live in a world where there is no police protection, and I’m far too old and infirm to resist, myself. Those ignorant politicians who go along with it must think they have something to replace them with, and I’d love to know what it is—and it isn’t a social worker. Having them answer police calls, as has been suggested, without being armed is sure suicide, for them, and everybody else involved. (Just common sense)

Creating A Rebellion

Liberals don’t think it can happen in America, but so did King George when he tried to take away America’s guns. That cost him a country he thought was his when his settlers resisted his high-handed ways. I guess he thought, “Oh, another rebellion to put down.” But he soon found out American settlers were made of sterner stuff than were those of the other rebellions he had put down. They “handed him his head” and took his country away from him. Now we’ve come full circle and our own government, not some foreign power’s king, wants to take our guns away, and with it, our right to self defense. That ain’t gonna sis too well with the millions of gun owners, and they won’t stand for it. They think they’re so strong they can’t provide any resistance to their draconian, unconstitutional laws, but if they succeed in making a law to disarm America, the rebellion will begin. And the gun owners WILL win. (Just common sense)

The Predicted Response

Remember that St. Louis couple that defended their home and life from violent threatening rioters who were committing felonious breakins to get to them with an automatic weapon? Rioters who broke a gate to get to them, making that couple “afraid for their lives?” Now the cops have come for their weapon to make sure that doesn’t happen again. They WANT them to fear for their lives, maybe get beaten to death by an angry mob. I have noticed that this is the usual response by the authorities when they find a person has the means for self defense, knowing the cops are precious minutes away—minutes in which thugs can do much damage, even kill them. They come and take away that tool for self defense, even though the Constitution guarantees us the right to have it. They know the high court operates so slowly they can get away with that for many months, maybe even many years before they are ordered to return that tool to the owner—maybe long after that owner has been killed in a subsequent riot, that may come, since the rioters know how stupid those “authorities” are, and what they will do. So they won’t have to “back off” in the face of that tool this time and they can now do what they want, maybe even kill them. (Daily Wire)

Unbelievable Incompetence!

Incompetent elected “officials” have been going out of their way to illustrate their stupidity by defunding their police departments, instigating record rises in violent crimes, since there are fewer cops out there to stop the criminals from victimizing innocent people. At the same time they are releasing violent criminals—rapists and murderers, to prey on the rest of us. Meanwhile, they are working hard to disarm all HONEST, law-abiding people, making them “easy targets” for criminals. Why do they do that? They need the space to house the “REAL criminals”—people who congregate with family members for Thanksgiving dinner. They impose crippling fines and jail sentences upon these terrible criminals, and there just isn’t enough room to house those rapists and murderers. Then they cry when violent crime goes out of control. There’s only one solution to this insanity, and that’s to get a gun—legal or illegal. A bullet doesn’t know, nor care, if it is legal or not. Since those incompetent politicians are making it all but impossible for us to defend ourselves legally, while turning all the violent criminals loose to prey on us, we’re going to have to do it illegally. They are no different from the old union “enforcers.” They don’t meet opposition with logic and common sense, they just go out and beat up, and maybe KILL their opponents. So if you’re a Trump supporter, you’d better have your gun ready when they come for you, because they may even want to KILL you for opposing them. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an election this violent, not even one of those “tin pot banana dictatorship” sham elections down south. If we let them win, they will change this country into a dictatorship, as did Adolph Hitler in Germany. The proof is in the pudding with AOC’s listing of Trump supporters so they can be “dealt with” later when the Dumbocrats are in power. And there is also “donor-watch.com,” which is already showing ANTIFA and BLM which houses to burn and who to kill. ANTIFA and BLM are the thugs of the Dumbocrat Party, just as, some years ago were the KKK. They maintained “plausible deniability” so they can say, “Oh, they have nothing to do with us.” But notice, ALL their violence is directed at Trump and the Republicans. They're Waking Up

Americans are waking up to reality concerning gun control. The anti-gun fools have had them fooled for years with all their false claims, but reality is coming to the fore, and people have noticed. Gun control does NOT do what it is touted to do. It does just the opposite, in fact. Disarming law-abiding people only makes it easier for those using ILLEGAL guns to victimize those law-abiding people who obey their insane laws. Criminals do not obey anti-gun laws. that’s a given, since they don’t obey ANY laws. The law-abiding DO obey gun laws, even if they think they’re stupid, and that makes them “easy targets” for the holders of the millions of ILLEGAL guns out there in the hands of criminals, crazies, and now Islamic terrorists. This, of course, causes an INCREASE in violent crime, rather than the decrease the anti-gun fools promise—and thus many people die. The fact is, owners of LEGAL guns are not the problem. California Gun Killings

Wait a minute. California has some of the toughest anti-gun laws on the books, so how is this possible? Someone had to have either gotten his guns illegally or passed a background check and got them legally in order to bring off this outage. I thought all these tight laws were supposed to STOP things like this? Why weren’t they able? The truth is, this is yet another proof that anti-gun laws are useless to stop, or even slow down “gun crime.” Only the law-abiding obey them, and they aren’t, for the most part, the problem. The problem people are criminal, crazies, and Islamic terrorists, who regularly kill innocent people to make a political point. And they couldn’t care less about anti-gun laws. They are bent on violating much worse laws than those insignificant prohibitions on their use of guns in committing their other crimes. Laws are for those who obey them. Thus, the only people to whom these laws will apply are the law-abiding, who obey them. Completely ignoring the lawless, who routinely DISobey them. So what the hell good are they? They merely make it easier for the lawless to victimize the law-abiding. The anti-gun fools have to know this, but they ignore it and keep making their useless anti-gun laws, then ask in wonder, why gun crime persists. The news articles are still reporting that 5 people died in this California killing spree, but the death toll has risen to 6. So what are California lawmakers going to do, now? Make more useless anti-gun laws for them to ignore? (People)

Phony "Studies"

Liberals commonly use phony studies to promote their scams, and so do anti-gun fools (a repetition, there). Now comes a “study” that says if you own a gun, you suddenly have become suicidal. What a stupid idea that is! They have all kinds of spurious ideas they promote through their phony studies, like connecting gun ownership with a rise in crime, and murders, But a gun is merely an inanimate object until it is activated by a human hand. People don’t suddenly want to kill themselves just because a gun becomes available. To think so demonstrates stupidity beyond belief. And an attempt to con people into not buying a gun for fear of becoming suicidal, or wanting to murder somebody. The truth is high crime and high instances of suicide have nothing to do with the availability of a gun. And it is not the LEGALLY-OWNED guns that are the problem. It is the ILLEGAL gun holders who create all the suicides and violent crime. Not the gun. The human beings who get their guns illegally because they expect to use them in criminal activity so they so they don’t stand for a background check. Legal gun owners get their guns to defend themselves against the millions of ILLEGAL guns out there. And, no, getting a gun does NOT make you want to kill yourself, no matter what the JAMA Network in Missouri may say. It’s a phony study designed to make you afraid to buy a gun. (Bearing Arms)

Practical Stupidity

That is gun control. Gun control, as we know it, does not work. All those who promote gun control have to know that, yet they continue to make their useless, unenforceable gun control laws that do nothing but destroy the entire concept of self defense while getting honest, law-abiding people killed. Why do they do that? Are they just stupid? Or do they have an ulterior motive? The only ulterior motive I can see for the anti-gun fool promoters is the “cushy jobs” they have, paid for by those gullible “contributors” to their anti-gun fool campaigns. For anti-gun fool politicians however, the ulterior motive is two-fold. One, it gives them more power to tell us what we can, and cannot do. And two, when the time comes for that politician to come for your property, he or she wants to face as few guns as possible. Those have emerged as the obvious ulterior motives, since they have to know their laws do NOTHING to stop, or even slow down “gun violence” and, instead, INCREASE it. So the first thing we need to do is get rid of every politician who supports gun control by voting them out of office, or not voting them in, in the first place, At the same time, people need to stop sending money to the damned fool anti-gun fool demonstrators. Finding Something to Write

It’s hard to find something to write about gun control, since I’ve written it all, at one point or another, and been roundly ignored by the anti-gun fools, and I’m “preaching to the choir.” It’s very obvious to intelligent people that anti-gun laws not only don’t work, they contribute to the problem by disarming the law-abiding, making it easier for the lawless to victimize them. But those making the anti-gun laws are obviously NOT intelligent people, since they continue to insist on making laws they KNOW don’t work, an only add to the problem. I’ve always advised voters NEVER to elect an anti-gun politician, but they keep doing it, and are making the problem worse, instead of better. Now we’re in danger of getting both an anti-gun president, and an anti-gun vice president, which is going to add considerably to the problem for at least the next four years. The laws they make only apply to LEGAL gun sales and use, because they can’t get to those owning ILLEGAL guns, so they do the next best thing (in their minds). (Just common sense)
