When Are Liberals Going to Wake Up?

Their entire system is against human nature. It guarantees failure in the future. Like their dedication to collectivism (socialism) and their continuing effort to make this into a socialist country. It’s based on the ignorant idea that ONLY the government can run things while the government screws up everything they touch (except raising taxes and conning your way into office). Socialism (in all its forms) involves TAKING from those who EARN and GIVING to those who don’t It “enshrines” mediocrity. It DEPENDS on TAKING the profits EARNED by people. It NEEDS people who earn profits for its very survival. Their position on guns is just as stupid. They try to promote the idea that CRIMINALS, who break laws for a LIVING, will OBEY a law that says they can’t be armed! People who have an unshakable belief in something that can be refuted in ONE SENTENCE aren’t too bright, are they? Or they’d be able to see it for themselves. (Just common sense)

Yet Another Gun Story

I don’t know if the incidence of people using legal guns to foil criminals are becoming more, or if they’re just being reported more. What IS happening is that they are appearing more often in places other than the NRA’s “Armed citizen” web site. At one time, I picked up a lot of stories from that web site, but I don’t have to any more. They are sufficiently numerous in general news sites (albeit mostly conservative) that I don’t have to resort to that site any more. This is one such story. Mauricio Esquivel pulled into his driveway and saw a broken window in his house. He got his gun out of his car, pointed it at the burglar and called the cops. For a change they got there quickly ant took Orlando Ortega into custody. At least he was smart enough to surrender when he saw Esquivel’s gun, so he will live to rob again after he gets out of prison in a few years. (The Blaze)

Always Trying

Obama is trying to find out as much about people who own guns and those who FAVOR owning guns as he can, hoping to find SOMETHING to use against those who would oppose him on that sham “gun control” he keeps pushing. We keep telling him what WILL work, but he ignores it and continues the "gun control swindle" he's been pushing for years. “The research agenda is intended to produce mammoth amounts of raw data on American gun owners, users and their circumstances, meaning that violence resulting from firearms use will be studied for “its causes, approaches to interventions that could prevent it, and strategies to minimize its health burden.” He loses in the gun control war, but he NEVER GIVES UP. He figures he will win, eventually, and all he has to do is win ONCE. One of the things he wants to know is where people KEEP guns so when he’s ready, he can confiscate (steal) them. The King of Britain tried that at Lexington and started a WAR that he lost. Will Obama? I can see it coming, and I welcome it. (Fox News)

It Doesn't work--Do More of It

Chicago has one of the highest gun death rates in the nation, coupled with the strongest anti-gun laws in the nation. They don’t work. So what does Rahm Emanuel do? He makes more of them like most INCOMPETENT POLITICIANS do. And gun deaths will predictably rise even more. What does it take to convince ignorant bast-rds like Emanuel that he’s going in the wrong direction? Nothing. He doesn’t want to stop gun violence. He wants to DISARM everybody and make gun ownership ILLEGAL co he can CRIMINALIZE people for wishing to defend themselves and having the means to do so. Like most liberals, he FEARS an armed populace because he thinks they will kill his thugs when they come after their property and their freedoms. (WGN TV)

Report Won't Make Obama Happy

The “report” coming from his Institute of Medicine and the National Research Council, (though I don’t see what MEDICINE has to do with this) isn’t going to entirely support his position on gun control. First,  it shows that instances of gun violence are getting BETTER, not worse—mostly because of better laws in 39 states); mass shootings are NOT the problem, and guns are used for self defense often, and effectively (something the anti-gun freaks say never happens). It is NOT true that the blame for most gun violence falls on a few “bad gun dealers.” That’s because most of the guns in use by criminals come from “back alley criminals” who sell guns out of the trunks of their cars. This item appeared in Slate, one of the most liberal sources. They must have had a gun to their heads. (Slate)

Hollywood Loves Guns--for Profit

They HATE guns—if you listen to some of their best-known actors, male and female, most of which employ their own ARMED security, who carry guns. But if you look at the movies they make, those same actors probably spend more time with a gun in their hands than a cop does in his daily work. Maybe they think because those guns only shoot blanks, that’s okay. I guess that represents the level of intelligence of the average liberal Hollywood actor. It really pains me to hear actors talk about how bad guns are while they pay armed security to keep them safe. It’s like talking out of both sides of their mouths. But then, they all live in a world of “make-believe,” so you might be able to “give them a pass” if the subject weren’t so important. I can’t believe NYT actually published this. I guess they figure one article won’t hurt their agenda. (New York Times)

Obama Arms the Beheaders

He’s sending money to the “rebels” in Syria, who (since Islamic extremists took over) BEHEAD their enemies (with a rusty knife) without any sort of trial and throw their headless bodies to their dogs. He’s helping to support barbarians who KILL indiscriminately, rape women while charging THEM with a crime, and BEHEAD people “on camera” for the whole world to see. They have no shame. They think people who do not believe EXACTLY the same way they do can be MURDERED with impunity (and in countries run by Muslims, they can). They think people who convert to another religion likewise can (And should be) MURDERED. In Egypt, where Islamic terrorists who operate the same way, are getting American troops to be “under their command” in “putting down” the demonstrations against the dominance of the Muslim Brotherhood, one of the most deadly bunch of Islamic terrorists going—which Obama will NOT admit. If we keep doing things like this, it won’t be too long before Islamists are BEHEADING American citizens in Kansas City or Chicago and throwing their headless bodies to the dogs.(Political Vel Craft)

Backing Up Your Threat

Every parent knows (though some ignore it) that when you threaten to do something if your children act up, you need to DO IT. Not to do what you promised tells them they can get away with ANYTHING because you won’t do what you promised. The same applies to PROMISES you make if they do something good. If you don’t keep your promises, your credibility disappears. The same applied when a president promises to do something if another COUNTRY “crosses a red line.” If he then “backs away” from that promise as Obama is now doing concerning use of “chemical weapons” in Syria. Assad now knows he can continue to use them to kill his people with impunity if he keeps their use “questionable.” Obama will do nothing. (LA Times)

Another Homeowner Shoots Armed Thug

This time in Arizona. I guess the Western states are a little smarter about allowing their citizens to be armed than those Eastern states that have such high “gun violence” stats. This guy pointed his gun at the homeowner and threatened him with his gun. Then he made the mistake of insulting the homeowner’s wife and the homeowner shot him. They found him on a golf course ten hours later still trying to get away. This is just one more occasion of proof that more honest people allowed to carry guns will lower the violent crime rate. But will incompetent politicians who run places like Chicago, which has some of the tightest anti- gun laws in the nation coupled with the highest gun violence in the country listen? I don’t think so. They’re either too stupid or have a different agenda than they claim. (The Blaze)

Call People With Guns

What do you do when a crazed gunman carrying an illegal gun starts shooting at you in a public place? Why, call someone who HAS guns and HOPE they get there in time to take down the crazed gunman before he kills you. While you’re waiting, HIDE. That’s the fallacy in what the politicians tell us while they make all kinds of laws to keep us from being able to defend OURSELVES. In this case, like all the others, ONE PERSON with his own gun and the will to use it could have saved at least the last three people shot from BEING shot. Fortunately, the “people with guns” they called (the cops) got there in time to limit this crazed shooter’s victims to four. But way too often, they don’t. Someone with a gun who is ALREADY THERE would be better, but our incompetent politicians never listen to reason. Some even deny the EXISTENCE of reason and logic—which demonstrates their ignorance. Fewer People Owning More Guns?

Huh? “Caroline Brewer of the anti-gun Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence has reported that “The research we’ve seen indicates fewer and fewer people owning more and more guns.” Yet one can only wonder where they are getting that information [They’re making it up, as they do with most of their statistics to support their agenda.-RT]. In reality, public support for personal gun ownership is growing. According to Steve Sanetti, president of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, a trade group that represents about 7,000 firearms manufacturers and related companies, in 1959 some 70% of the American public favored handgun bans, whereas today that number has flipped. This support is reflected in the marketplace. Sanetti observes that the $4.1 billion gun industry “has had nineteen months of growth in an otherwise anemic economy.” They can't lie to us forever. Robber Made Big Mistake

This is getting boring. The stories of people exercising their Second Amendment rights have become so numerous I can’t even report them all. Maybe it’s the rise of the “alternative media, which DOES report these incidents while the anti-gun media does not; I don’t know. But in Atlanta, a gunman tried to rob everybody in line to buy a pair of $180 shoes and got killed for his trouble when somebody in line decided he didn’t want to be robbed and shot him to death. I guess the robber figured everybody in line had at least $180 to give him. But one of them had one bullet, which he gave him without even being asked. No charges being filed against the man who killed the robber. It was “self defense.” (The Blaze)

Don't Disarm for Self Defense

That’s about the silliest thing I’ve ever heard of, but it is the almost unshakable position of our incompetent lawmakers who keep making laws to do just that. But other smarter politicians have significantly increased the number of guns in the hands of responsible people and caused the violent crime rate to “nosedive.” Forbes Magazine says this: “As much as gun control advocates might wish otherwise, their attacks are running out of ammo. With private firearm ownership at an all-time high and violent crime rates plunging, none of the scary scenarios they advanced have materialized. Abuse of responsibility by armed citizens is rare, while successful defensive interventions against assaults on their lives and property are relatively commonplace.” Such instances of successful intervention are DENIED by anti-gun freaks but people are starting to ignore them more and more. Biden Shows HIs Ignorance (Again)

That fool, Joe Biden is opening his stupid mouth again, showing his ignorance (as usual). He’s telling politicians who oppose the administration’s stupid gun control laws that if they oppose them, they’ll “pay a political price” for their opposition. Really, Joe? With gun ownership at it’s highest in years, and a majority of states making “concealed carry permits” a lot easier to get while the violent crime rate plummets, do you really think your support is strong enough to promise that? Joe, you’d be much better off if you’d keep your mouth shut. Conservatives call you “the gift that keeps on giving,” referring to your penchant for making illogical and stupid statements. The Supremacy Clause

They’ve been trying or years to establish the supremacy of the federal government over the states. The original Constitution made it clear that the states were supreme. But politicians found a way around that and passed the “Supremacy Clause,” making the feds “supreme” in CERTAIN cases, creating a BONANZA for constitutional lawyers. Lately, several states have made laws that allow federal agents to be ARRESTED for enforcing certain federal laws within their states, principally in the case of anti-gun laws. They really need to resolve this issue so the confusion can’t ruin the lives of federal agents who are only doing their jobs and gun owners who are wrongfully arrested, (Mail.com)

Another Bad Guy Learns A Lesson

The lesson is, if you’re gonna do a “home invasion” with a gun, make sure you know how to handle a gun. In this case this fool put a gun to a woman’s head and she fought him off, making him drop his gun. Her husband picked it up and gave it back to him; one bullet at a time.” His buddy is probably still running while he is being taken to the city morgue. He wasn’t much of a thug if a woman could disarm him, but she did. The lesson won’t do him much good though, because he’s dead. (The Blaze)

Two Senators Surrender

“Senators John Hoeven (R-ND) and Bob Corker (R-TN) have made anti-gun New York Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) a very happy man.  They are frantically working to give Schumer the 70 votes he needs to send his amnesty bill to the House with momentum. And, if that bill were to be signed into law, it would add 8.4 million anti-gun voters to the rolls, and make gun registration, bans, and confiscation inevitable within 20 years.” All in return for a border fence and a few more border agents. This is something we should not have had to surrender our gun rights for. These senators are both Republicans, but are acting like Democrats. They should be sent home with their tails between their legs, next election. (Gun Owners of America)

Don't Mess With Texas!

When will criminals learn? In Texas, just about everybody is armed; at least in their homes. So if you want to break in and burglarize a home, make sure nobody is home. For a change, this crook (who is not named in the story) will benefit by this advice because he is expected to survive. If this homeowner had not been armed, what would have happened? He’d have been robbed, and possibly assaulted. But, contrary to what the anti-gun fanatics say, it is the robber who is in the hospital and destined for a long jail sentence when he recovers. This homeowner didn’t shoot himself, nor did the bad guy take his gun away from him and shoot him with his own gun as they say will usually happen. (The Blaze)

Progressivism IS Communism!

You may wonder whi I post this in a blog about government taking your guns away. But believe me, this IS relevant. I know that most people’s “eyes glaze over” when they hear the word, “communism.” But make no mistake; communism IS “alive and well” all over the world. They just call it “progressivism” today to fool those who don’t know any better. The whole “communism collapsed” thing in Russia was a “set up.” “Two steps forward and one step back” is a well known scam the communists use to make us think we have “won a great battle” while they still make progress. The then communist boss in Russia, Mikhael Gorbachev, once told his “ruling body,” not to worry about such things as “Peristroika.” They are merely something to “put the Americans to sleep.” And, for the most part, particularly among our “leaders,” it has been spectacularly successful. They equate communism in Russia as being the only communism that meant anything and when it “failed,” communism was dead the world over. It is NOT.

It has just taken a new name and continues on, unabated. They just don’t call it COMMUNISM any more. Notice that in Russia the SAME PEOPLE are still running things as under communism. Vladmir Putin (now president--again) is the former head or the SECRET POLICE (NKVD or whatever else they called it) under communism. They're now a SOCIALIST country. Communism and socialism are merely two different kinds of COLLECTIVISM. There are only cosmetic differences between the two. (Naziism is another. Nazi stands for “National SOCIALIST.” The Soviet Union was the “Union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republics.” It is a “thin disguise,” but our politicians and most of the “lesser people” in this country have “bought it. ” COLLECTIVISM is the enemy, and our own president is one of collectivism’s highest-ranking promoters. He is working day and night to impose it upon us. He has already succeeded in “taking over” 1/7th of our economy, the medical profession.

He has also taken over most of the auto industry (the government now OWNS General Motors, and CONTROLS large segments of the other auto companies—that part he hasn’t allowed to be sent to China, of course). What part of the “private sector” he doesn’t OWN, he CONTROLS, through regulations. He is well on his way to creating “The American Socialist Republic.” We stupidly (not me) re-elected him to another four year term so he could complete the job he started. He even THREATENED to do so when he said, “I need another four years to finish what I started.” Make no mistake; he means to complete the job of SOCIALIZING America and becoming our “Vladmir Lenin” with that clown, Joe Biden as his Josef Stalin. People will say that what I say is just “the ravings of a dotty old man,” so they can dismiss it. But nothing could be further from the truth.

I’m one of the FEW people in this country who REALIZES what they’re doing. I doubt if I will be alive much longer. If I don’t die from old age, I believe this government will do something to “get rid of me” because I “know too much,” as did Peter McWilliams, whom they murdered by putting him in prison for using the ONLY thing that kept him from vomiting up his medicine until he was found one day drowned in his own vomit. Look his name up on the Internet (if you can still do it) or in the library (if you can’t) if you don’t believe me. Look up his book, “Nobody’s Business If You Do.” My own grandson worked for a thinly disguised “Re-elect Obama” organization during that recent interminable election. When I asked him why he was helping Obama spew his poison he told me “It was a job when there were no others.” That might be a good excuse for somebody who doesn’t know just who the enemy is, but not for me. If we don’t wake up soon, we’ll be the next “collectivist showcase country.” When the communists (under whatever name they use to confuse us) take over here, guess what will be the FIRST casualty? Don't know? It'll be gun ownership. (Just common sense)

NY To Tie Cops' Hands

In New York City (under Mayor Blunderberg), the cops will no longer be able to use a suspect’s race, age, and even gender as an identifier if a bill now in Council passes. Without those identifiers, what’s left? Boy, liberals like Bloomberg sure know how to tie the cops’ hands. Tell me, without those identifiers, how are they going to describe the suspects at all? Talk about incompetent politicians who have NEVER been “in the trenches” making impossible rules for those who are! NYPD Captain’s Endowment Association subsequently ran an ad showing a cop in uniform with a blindfold over his eyes, which pretty much describes how he will have to work if this bill passes. If the mayor finds out who this cop is, no doubt he will either lose his job or be demoted to the lowest rung on the NYPD roster. To my way of thinking, if this bill passes, every cop in NY should resign, en masse. Such rules will get them killed and make their jobs impossible. What kind of damn FOOL is this mayor? I'm glad this fool is in New York, and not where I live! (The Blaze)
