Wrong Target, As Usual

Atlanta, GA, where the NRA is holding its national convention, is about to disarm itself more, if the governor vetoes the measure passed by the legislature to allow students and others on campus to be armed for self defense. The campus police at Georgia tech are not armed, so if any of the millions of holders of ILLEGAL guns comes on campus to kill some people, they won't be able to do anything but “run or die,” as will the students, faculty, and other employees and visitors. The police chief there says the “crime problem” isn't a major factor, and recommends that veto. It seems to me the “authorities” are bound and determined to make it easier for the “bad guys” to victimize people. They want to keep guns away from law-abiding people even though they KNOW there are ALREADY many guns on campus ILLEGALLY. But their laws do nothing about that until they find the illegal guns, which they normally do AFTER they are used to hurt or kill an UNARMED law-abiding citizen. (Allen West)

MOMS Chickens Out

Shannon Watts, boss of “MOMS Against guns (or something like that) are going to have a “face-to-face rally” at the same time as the NRA event in Atlanta—one mile away, in a park. Aren't parks “gun-free zones?” That means no armed NRA people will be able to go there and disrupt her “face-to-face” rally, though they will be able to come WITHOUT guns, wearing their marked T-shirts and other garb. She will probably call the cops on them. She will, of course, have armed guards stationed just OUTSIDE the park to intercept any “troublemakers” who aren't members of MOMS. She says, “We want to bring people together to show the counter perspective.” Of course, nobody who doesn't agree with her will be welcome. That's the liberal way, you know. If she could, she'd shut down the NRA event, as liberals always try to do when someone they don't agree with is giving speeches. Probably, 10 people will show up, as they have to other anti-gun fool events.(Gun Free Zone)

More Stupid Gun Laws

I can't believe such STUPID politicians have been instrumental in running our country. But current Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel used to be very powerful in the federal government, until he decided he wanted to be the top man in SOME governmental organization. He chose Chicago, a corrupt city that spawned Barack Hussein Obama, the scourge of the American government. In Chicago, where they have some of the tightest of stupid gun laws, the “streets run red” with the blood of the victims of ILLEGAL guns, a “straw purchaser “beat the charges,” and now Rahm wants even MORE stupid gun laws. I don't mean to say ALL gun laws are stupid, even though all the current ones are, because they target the GUNS, not the PEOPLE misusing the guns. If they ever came up with some laws that actually WORKED, I'd be all for them. But they seem not to be intelligent enough to do that. (NRA-ILA)

No Ambiguity There

The Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States says one thing and it says it well. That Americans have the inalienable right to be armed in self defense. What part of “shall not be infringed” do the anti-gun fools not understand? Their every law; every regulation and rule so far, INFRINGES on that right. They have seized upon the “militia” thing to try and fool us. But at the time the Constitution was written, there WERE no “organized militias,” and they meant ALL the people were “part of a militia” that could be called up in time of danger, and they wanted them to be able to bring their own guns because the government, at that time, didn't have enough money to provide guns for everybody. The anti-gun fools don't think we know that. They think they can use that to override the right GUARANTEED by the Constitution. They know they're wrong, but they use it, anyway because they have nothing else. (Just common sense)

Ignoring Illegal Guns

In Chicago, the WORST place in the country to be if you don't want to get shot, even by a stray bullet, OR one aimed at you, there were FIVE KILLED and 26 wounded, over just the last weekend. The “authorities” don't mention which ones were accomplished with ILLEGAL guns—if they even keep such records. Outfits like the NY Times emphasizes the number of gun injuries (most of them suicides) that are accomplished by LEGAL guns, while ignoring those committed using ILLEGAL guns. They make many laws against law-abiding people being able to get their guns for self defense against those MILLIONS of illegal guns out there while IGNORING the illegal guns. Yes, there ARE already laws against owning a gun illegally, but they are impossible to enforce against the owners of illegal guns until they reveal themselves by shooting somebody—usually somebody else with an illegal gun. NY Times Keeps Lying

They're continuing to pursue their ill-conceived campaign against law-abiding people being able to have their own guns to use in self defense against the MILLIONS of illegal guns out there in the hands of people who regularly use them to do us harm. They talk about 900 deaths by concealed carriers (a number in serious question). They admit that many of them were suicides, but gloss it over. They don't even bring up the many gun deaths caused by ILLEGAL guns in the same period. That's what anti-gun fools do—ignore the illegal guns out there. What they don't say is that a VERY FEW people who wish us ill GET carry permits, and only those who had not yet committed a crime are able to do so. If you look at the REAL figures, you'll see that MOST of the gun deaths are caused by ILLEGALLY-owned guns—but fools like these never do. Chicago Responsible

Obama's supposed home town, Chicago, has some of the tightest gun laws in the nation. At the same time, Chicago is responsible for 43.7% NATIONWIDE increase in urban murders. There's something wrong here. With laws like that, their murder rate should be the lowest in the land—but it's not. And still they make more and more of the same kind of “gun laws” that do NOTHING to reduce “gun crime,” and nobody (except people like me) notices. Their laws actually CAUSE gun crime, by disarming honest, law-abiding people, ignoring the millions of ILLEGAL gun owners, who can't be disarmed, because they can't be found—until they use their guns to commit a crime—and then, it's too late. This is a situation that is repeated, over and over, all across the nation. Lawmakers make TIGHT gun laws, and gun crime goes UP. Trump Fires Surgeon General

He fired an Obama holdover, former Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, for incompetence. The anti-gun fools will say it's because he said “Gun control is a health issue.” and they're right. But saying that IS incompetence, and we just can't keep incompetent people in important places. I've written before about getting rid of Obama holdover bureaucrats who want to undermine Trump, and Murthy is apparently one of those. He revealed himself as incompetent by his statement, and it is that incompetence that got him fired. Many anti-gun fools insist that wishing to have the means to self defense IS a “health issue,” and even that such wishes indicate a certain mental deficiency. But when people like the surgeon general thinks that, HE is incompetent, and needs to go. (IWB)

Terrorists Always Get Guns

That's what Newt Gingrich said on “Outnumbered,” on which he was the male prop last Friday. And he's right, in spite of the fact that France has very tough gun laws. Where do they come from? They get them from criminals who don't OBEY those laws, just like they do in America, It's mute testimony to the fact that tight gun laws (as we know them) just don't work. But they keep making them. The definition of insanity is “doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.” But that's what the anti-gun fools do regularly. They just can't get it through their thick skulls that they need to start doing something DIFFERENT. But they'll never learn, they don't have enough INTELLIGENCE. They think if they keep making it harder on people who want to use guns in self defense, that somehow, that'll do the trick. It doesn't. NRA Worse Than ISIS?

That's what a professor in Missouri says, to the consternation even of his university. I have a few questions to ask this professor. First, how many innocent people has the NRA beheaded? How many people have they murdered for not believing in their preaching? He says they want NO restrictions on gun ownership, for anybody, any time. That's a pure LIE. They want proper training, sensible laws, and the enforcement of current law IF it actually does anything to reduce the violence. The NRA does not send their “soldiers” into civilian crowds to kill as many innocent people as they can. To compare them to ISIS is just plain IDIOCY. And this is the kind of man who teaches our kids? There should be a way to FIRE these people when they teach such outrageous things. It's not a matter of freedom of speech. Without his podium, he would be free to make a fool of himself out on the street without fear of prosecution by the government. Without infecting the minds or our impressionable children. California Gun Laws Useless

Every day, in every way, we see more and more EVIDENCE that “tight gun laws,” as we know them now, are totally INEFFECTIVE in stopping “gun crime.” In Fresno, California, the man who shot and killed THREE random people ”because he hated white people” and who shouted “Allahu Akbar” as he did so was a felon in possession of a gun. California has ALL the anti-gun fools' silly laws in force, but none of them prevented this crazy felon from getting the gun he used to kill three random innocent people. What I want to know is, when are the anti-gun fools going to wake up to the fact that NONE of their laws do ANYTHING to prevent gun violence and, in fact, INCREASE it, by disarming honest, law-abiding people? I keep asking it, but I never get an answer. They ignore me. Chicago is another glaring example. They also have all the “tough gun laws,” but their streets ar “running red with blood,” as gang members kill one another while innocent people, including CHILDREN, get caught in the cross-fire. Blaming the GOP

Liberals are twisting facts again, so they can blame the GOP for “Fast and Furious,” a completely Democrat-run, and botched plan to “track” guns THEY allowed to be sold illegally and prove (erroneously) that most of the guns used by the Mexican drug cartels came from America. Yes, the plan was originally tried in the Bush administration, but was stopped when the cartels removed the GPS units from the guns that were sold, so they couldn't be tracked. Obama resurrected it WITHOUT those GPS units, which meant there was NO WAY those guns could have been tracked. They call the ATF incompetent, even though it has been operating for a long time WITHOUT a Congress-approved full director under, in effect, a budget cut, doing more with less money and has outperformed other agencies with larger budgets. Yes, they have made BIG mistakes in the past—mostly under Democrat administrations. Which doesn't mean they're incompetent now. I never thought I'd ever be DEFENDING the ATF, but when credit is due, I will say so. (Trace)

Violence Increase, Zero %!

That's how much the gun violence in DC increased after the Supreme Court declared DC's “gun ban” to be unconstitutional. Of course, the anti-gun fools will tell you this “means blood in the streets! OMG! We can't allow law-abiding human beings to be armed for self defense! They'd be out killing 'bad guys' all over the place, wouldn't they?” Only when the “bad guys” try and shoot them, but the anti-gun fools don't make that distinction. To them, “gun violence is gun violence,” even if it is law-abiding people defending themselves. The fact that this PROVES what we have been saying for years seems to have escaped them. Typical Police Politician

Who knows nothing about the real world, says, “concealed carry or open carry will be dangerous and get more cops killed.” Which shows his complete stupidity on the subject. Rank and file cops KNOW that more guns in the hands of law-abiding people is NOT a danger, and, in fact, means there could be some HELP for cops from that sector. His opinion completely IGNORES the millions of ILLEGAL guns already in the hands of NON-law-abiding people, which IS a danger; not only to cops, but to everybody. Many “top cops” have never been “in the trenches,” and consequently know nothing about how things work. This is apparently one of those, or if he was, he never LEARNED the way the world works. The “gun violence problem” does not come from the law-abiding, but from the CRIMINALS, crazies, and Islamic terrorists. And keeping guns out of the hands of GOOD people only gets them killed. But this chief will never learn that. He needs to look at the gun violence and see how many are caused by people legally allowed to have and carry guns, vs. those with ILLEGAL guns. Today's Gun Save

Anti-gun fools say it never happens. They say concealed carriers are more likely to shoot themselves than anybody else. They say that the average person carrying a gun NEVER is able to stop violence from being committed. They're WRONG. And today's “gun save” proves it, again: In Pierce County (Seattle area), a homeowner shot and killed a burglar who was at the time assaulting him in his own home as he forced his way into the home, where the man's 3-year old child and a 32-year-old woman were asleep within. Proving yet again that the anti-gun fools have no idea what they're talking about, and that they get people killed with their ignorance. (KING 5 TV)

Damfool Notions

The fanatical anti-gun fools' ideas are based on many fool notions. The worst of them is the fiction that taking guns out of the equation would stop violent crime. It would NOT. If there were no guns, the “bad guys” would find some other way to commit their violence, as they did before guns became common. Another fool notion is that “gun-free zones” will keep people from bringing guns into them and thus there will be no shootings there. Recent developments prove otherwise. Actual mass shooters have told us they SEEK OUT gun-free zones in which to do their dirty work. For instance: “Everytown For Gun Safety” (a silly name at best) was forced to note recently that there have been 220 SCHOOL shootings in America since 2013. And that doesn't even count shootings in OTHER “gun-free zones.” Since ALL schools in America are gun-free zones, that says a lot. The entire idea that making laws against law-abiding people getting guns to use in self defense is a “damfool notion.” They do NOTHING to prevent people from getting guns ILLEGALLY, and only make people DEFENSELESS against the millions of ILLEGAL guns out there. What's Bloomberg's Problem?

It seems like former (illegal) three-term mayor of New York City Michael Bloomberg is determined to violate our constitutional right to own and use a gun for self defense. Apparently he believes that anti-gun fool crap that the way to self defense is to DISARM yourself and “run away” while waiting the eternal (seems like) time it takes for a cop (with his gun) to get there. He has pledged to spend another $25 million this year to take away our right to self defense and the tools to make it possible, Many politicians are right with him, criminalizing everything that possibly can become a self defense weapon, everywhere, as soon as it is discovered. But the people are NOT “with him,” which is why, no matter how much money he spends, he loses most of the time his atrocities are actually put up to a popular vote. Gun Controlled Chicago

Chicago has some of the toughest gun laws in the land, yet 29 people have been shot in under 18 hours. Shannon Watts, of “MOMS Against Guns (or something like that) says her kind of gun laws will prevent that—but they won't. And she is apparently too stupid to realize it. If her kind of gun laws prevented “gun violence,” there wouldn't have been 29 people shot in Chicago in 18 hours, which HAS a bunch of her kind of gun laws in effect. She and her fellow fools just don't realize that all their efforts do not work, because they're all concentrated on the GUN, not the PEOPLE. You have to make use of a gun worth many more years in prison--or death, to do any good at all, if only it takes those who DO commit violence off the streets for a longer period of time. (Breitbart)

Trump Easing Gun Restrictions

Donald Trump is quietly ending most of Obama's non-congressional restrictions on gun ownership, and use. He hasn't yet been able to get rid of many laws passed by a Democrat Congress, but he has ENDED those “rules” made by fiat (executive orders). Gun sales in America are going down, since the people are no longer afraid of further restraints on their ability to get and use the means to self defense, a gun. Before now, “authorities” have worked HARD to keep Americans from being able to defend themselves against the ILLEGAL guns arrayed against them by criminals, crazies, and Islamic terrorists. They seemed more interested in keeping us from being able to defend ourselves than lowering “gun violence.” And that may continue locally for a while. They (in some places) even targeted stun guns and other non-gun methods of self defense. If it could possibly be used in self defense, they wanted to BAN it. MOMS Against guns (or something like that) founder Shannon Watts says, “There is a life or death battle going on in this country for gun safety, and caring Americans support gun control. Others support the gun lobby.” (Hee, hee!) It's hilarious how the anti-gun fools think they have the only right position while anybody on the other side just “supports the gun lobby.” That might be true if only their silly ideas ever WORKED. Not a single “gun law” pushed upon us by Shannon and her fellow goons has ever saved a SINGLE life. "MOMS 7-Person Turnout"

MOMS against guns (or something like that) had a “massive turnout” in Iowa, hoping to defeat the measure that was moving through the legislature to be called the “stand your ground” law to replace the “responsibility to run” thing. That is, if you can outrun bullets fired by criminals from their ILLEGAL guns. Their “massive turnout” included (only) SEVEN well-paid members of “MOMS.” And it was a massive failure, as the bill passed, and was signed into law by the governor the other day. Iowa then became the latest of the 35 “stand your ground” states. Which is a majority. MOMS claims a massive membership, but can't turn out even TEN paid members to their “demonstrations” in many places; Iowa being one of them. That should tell them something, but it takes INTELLIGENCE to learn from such things. (Gun Free Zone)

Unconstitutional Gun Laws

So far, ALL laws limiting gun purchase and use ARE unconstitutional. Period. Why? Because they infringe on a constitutional right. For instance: the law that in some states says the applicant for a “carry permit” must demonstrate a NEED for such a permit IS an infringement on a constitutional right. Look at it this way: what if the government told you that you must demonstrate a NEED before you can speak freely (under the First Amendment on freedom of speech)? That would be immediately recognized as being ABSURD, wouldn't it? Why then, can states get away with requiring a NEED before they will issue a carry permit? Limits on how guns can be stored are similarly infringements. In one state, you can get a “carry permit,” but the gun you carry MUST BE UNLOADED! What the hell good does an UNLOADED gun do you? Gun locks make it virtually impossible to get your gun into operation fast enough to deal with a criminal with an ILLEGAL gun. And they do NOTHING to hinder that CRIMINAL'S use of his illegal gun to kill you while you try to get to your legally-owned gun and get it into operation. (Heritage Foundation)

"Gun Control Doesn't Work"

“So let's have more gun control.” That's always the answer from the anti-gun fools when their silly gun control laws don't work. Make more of them. Gabby Giffords (You know Gabby. She was shot and almost killed in a parking lot while she was in Congress and doing a “meet and greet.” And since has become a major anti-gun fool) laments the fact that current gun control laws didn't prevent the murder-suicide at North Park Elementary School in California that also claimed the life of a child, so she wants more of them. It is this kind of foggy thinking that makes their laws so STUPID. What is not said is that California has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, which did NOTHING to stop this man from getting his gun. What is also unsaid is that those tight gun laws make it IMPOSSIBLE for honest citizens to “have parity” with people like this killer, and they get people killed. It should be noted that this happened in a state with very tight anti-gun laws, and IN a “gun-free zone,” where they say it cannot happen. (Breitbart)

Is Self Defense Illegal?

That seems to be the case. Not only are guns mostly outlawed, despite the constitutional prohibition on such things, so are knives, and other forms of self defense devices. Things like “The Asp” (extendable baton) are mostly designated as “law enforcement only,” and are a favorite for them. But not for us. If we are found with one, it is routinely confiscated, and we are sometimes even punished for having it. Same with Tasers and other stun guns. They're legal on paper (but illegal in other places), but if they get used in self defense, they take them away, too. In some places they even charge us with a crime for using them, even in pure self defense. ANYTHING that is used as a weapon, even in self defense, is “frowned upon” by law enforcement. And Lo and behold, if you use a gun, even against a deadly criminal who would murder you, often they file charges against YOU. I have come to the conclusion that they want to make self defense itself illegal. There are many items legally owned that CAN be used in a pinch as a self defense weapon, but if you do, they'll be often “labeled” a weapon, and you will often be punished for their use. Today's Gun Save

Adding Your Own Spin

The anti-gun fools have added their own spin to the fact that Trump reversed Obama's ill-advised “Social Security Ban” on seniors who ask others to handle their finances being denied their Second Amendment rights. Instead of recognizing the fact that asking someone else to handle their finances is NO indication that they are “severely mentally ill,” they tell us that Trump has decided that “severely mentally ill elders” should be allowed guns. Which is NOT the case, whatever LIES they tell. People who ask others to handle their finances are NOT necessarily “severely mentally ill!” That would be a completely stupid and irresponsible description of these people. Yet that's how the anti-gun fools operate. LIE because there's no truth they can tell to support their silly claims. There is no LOGICAL reason to disarm anybody in the face of the millions of ILLEGAL guns out there in the hands of criminals, crazies, and Islamic terrorists. But these fools are not logical. They even deny the very EXISTENCE of logic, AND common sense. (Breitbart)

There's No "Gun Violence!"

There's no such thing as “gun violence.” It's simply “violence.” Period. If guns didn't exist, there would still be violence, and the people wanting to DO violence would use the next best thing, as they did years ago when guns DIDN'T exist, or were too costly for most people. They used knives. They used swords; or clubs—or their bare hands. Whatever was at hand. I don't recall anybody ever bemoaning “sword violence” 200 or 300 years ago. It was “just violence.” Islamic terrorists and their “fellow travelers” even use CARS and TRUCKS to kill people. They also use explosives. The point is, it's NOT “gun violence,” it's just plain VIOLENCE. And those who wish to DO violence will do it, using whatever is available. And taking away the means for “parity” with those using guns to commit violence is STUPID. But the anti-gun fools work HARD to do just that. “Bad guys” have no trouble getting their guns, ILLEGALLY. Honest people have more trouble getting guns than do bad guys, making honest people “easy targets” for violence committed by “bad guys with guns.” Disarming yourself is NOT the way to self defense. But somehow, the anti-gun fools don't understand that. They SHUDDER to think of law-abiding people being armed in self defense, but IGNORE all the “bad guys,” who have guns, out there. I just saw a video of a mugger trying his best to KILL his victim, after already shooting him once. The only thing that saved this victim was the thug's gun jamming, probably due to lack of knowledge in gun handling. (Just common sense)

Sending CHILDREN to Jail!

In Baton Rogue, Louisiana, they want to PROSECUTE children as young as kindergarteners if they bring toy guns to school. It's an ABSURD notion, but anti-gun fools are KNOWN for the absurdity of their notions, since most of them are INSANE on the subject of guns. ANY guns, in the hands of law-abiding people,while totally IGNORING those millions of ILLEGAL guns out there in the hands of criminals. The very things they get all bent out of shape over PROVE the absurdity of their thinking. A CHILD brings a transparent WATER pistol to school, or chews a Pop Tart into a shape that LOOKS like a gun. You can't stop children from playing “cops and robbers.” Both will get the child suspended, maybe expelled. Now they want to put them in JAIL! Then there's the child who pointed his FINGER at another child while playing a game. The school suspended that child, and threatened expulsion. Talk about PARANOIA! (WWL TV)

No Shortage of Klutzes

Even in the NRA, which has been proven three times recently by NRA INSTRUCTORS shooting themselves or others during training sessions. Which does NOT invalidate their training programs, at all. And they're right that more guns in the hands of responsible, trained persons, CAN, and WILL stop many shooters who just want to kill people. That is proven by the MILLIONS of people they have trained, who have NOT shot themselves or others. THREE klutzes prove NOTHING, against those millions. The anti-gun fools go out of their way to gleefully point out the klutzes, while ignoring the millions of well-trained people who do NOT misuse their guns. Meanwhile, they deny that a “good guy with a gun” can make a difference, by IGNORING, and refusing to report the many instances of that happening, every day. (Fusion)

You Don't Ask Permission

Not to exercise a constitutional right. The Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States says categorically, “....the right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed,” Yet, every day, liberal anti-gun fools try to pass laws and make regulations that infringe on that right.” The right to be armed for self defense is NOT a “privilege” to be “granted or taken away” by some nameless, faceless bureaucrat. The power to “permit” is the power also to DENY. And every law or regulation that allows it is UNCONSTITUTIONAL. In a real world, this should be enough, since the Constitution is the BASIS for ALL our laws—and regulations are a mere subset of those laws. Opponents of S. Carolina's bill to allow “constitutional carry” say it will “allow untrained people to carry guns at will.” What is not said is that the same is true of all the ILLEGAL guns out there, already—and their laws do nothing to put a stop to that. Grandstand Play Fails

A Tennessee politician, TN House Caucus Leader Mike Stewart (Dem, of course) set up a “lemonade/gun stand” to prove how easy it is to sell a gun privately without a background check. Only problem? Nobody bought it. So his “Ah ha! Moment” was more like “uh....” Add to that the fact that he bought the gun from a private seller and had to undergo a background check, himself, which, in itself, negates his premise. Nobody bought any lemonade or cookies, either, in the 48 minutes he waited for a buyer. The only thing he proved is that is is easy to buy a gun ILLEGALLY (which we've been saying, all along), which just shows how useless are ALL laws to “control gun sales” for HONEST people who OBEY laws. The Daily Shooting

The liberal anti-gun fools keep telling us that private ownership of guns does nothing to stop crime. We say there are enough instances of it reported in the “alternative media” to prove them wrong, every day. The reason I say “alternative media” is that such instances are not reported in the liberal media so they can keep saying it doesn't happen. In this case, a homeowner came upon two burglars trying to burglarize his house and confronted them. One threatened to kill him, so he surprised them, shooting one. The other “lit out for parts unknown” and is probably still running, while the cops collected the one he shot. Too bad he wasn't a better shot. Maybe he could have permanently reduced the amount of crime this one would commit in his lifetime. (WTOP)

A Gun Is A Gun

The anti-gun fools are now saying that, since the Founding Fathers could not have even imagined an assault weapon, the constitutional protections on such guns aren't covered in the Constitution. How STUPID is that? A gun is a gun, is a gun!” When they wrote that “Americans' right to be armed WILL NOT BE INFRINGED,” they specified NO specific gun, but spoke ONLY about ARMS. So their words cover “assault weapons,” too. They ARE “arms,” and their ownership and use is PROTECTED in the Constitution, no matter what the anti-gun fools say. The anti-gun fools will throw anything up against the wall to see if it will stick, and it doesn't matter to them if it is a LIE. They know they have a “hard row to hoe” in trying to go against the most basic of constitutional protections, so they do anything they can to promote their pipe dreams. (Bearing Arms)

Stating the Obvious

A stalking victim has told authorities that a restraining order is not enough, that women need guns to use to defend themselves. An Indiana woman has waited 60 days for a permit to be approved, while her stalker continues to stalk her, and could have killed her at any time. This is something that is obvious to intelligent people, but not so obvious to anti-gun fools who happen to have been elected to office. I have cited before a specific case, right here in Denver, of a woman who was threatened, and asked for a gun permit. While waiting for approval, she bought an ILLEGAL gun, and it's a good thing she did, because her threatener tried to kill her soon thereafter, and she killed HIM with her illegal gun. This made her a lawbreaker, but a LIVE lawbreaker—for without that ILLEGAL gun, she would be dead. (Breitbart)

Awwwww--Poor Baby!

Three young thugs armed with brass knuckles and knives did a home invasion and were met by a guy with an AR-15. He killed all thee. Now the grandfather of one of the dead thugs is whining about his AR-15 making the fight “unfair.” Awww—poor baby! Ya went into a home armed with brass knuckles and knives, ready to kill anybody who resisted—but you didn't have guns. So the homeowner should throw away his gun and get his brass knucks? To fight THREE guys? Seems to me when you break into a man's home prepared to beat him senseless or stab him to death, you should know you're taking a chance on “getting dead” yourself. The shooter had no way of knowing the thugs didn't have guns. He just knew the thugs were breaking into his home and reacted, as it turns out, with deadly force. He was not charged with a crime, and he should not have been. It was pure self defense, no matter what weapons the thugs were carrying. It's not necessary for a victim to check to see if his having a gun is “fair.” (Bearing Arms)

All Gun Laws Unconstitutional

Every one of them. The Constitution says categorically, that, “the right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed.” That's simple and easy to understand language, unlike that used to make many laws. It means our right to own and use a gun “shall NOT be infringed.” Yet every law the anti-gun fools make, so far, INFRINGES on that right. They say that adding requirements to be “”allowed” to have or carry a gun is a “common sense requirement,” but in reality, it is an INFRINGEMENT. It presupposes that they have a right to limit that right. They do NOT. Forcing us to “jump through bureaucratic hoops” to even “get permission” from a nameless, faceless bureaucrat” who can, on his/her own initiative, refuse it, is an infringement.

As is creating “gun-free zones” where legal gun owners can't carry their guns, and every law imposing stringent requirements on how to STORE them are, as well. Actually, it seems like the real purpose of “gun control” is to keep Americans ALL defenseless against the attacks of ILLEGAL gun owners. In fact, if we are discovered to be using items other than guns for self defense such as stun guns, they want to make laws against those, too, because sometimes the “bad guys” use them, too. I have a “page holder” to use to hold down the pages of a book while I'm eating when I need both hands to eat that looks like a “sap.” It features a heavy lead weight at each end. I'll BET that a cop could declare” it to be an “illegal weapon” and take it away from me. It was bought in a bookstore, AS a page holder, but the laws are so vague any cop can DEFINE it as a weapon and confiscate it, maybe even sending me to jail for owning it.. (Just common sense)

More Stupid Political Ideas

It's a known fact that police politicians are more interested in protecting their own butts than they are in solving problems “rank and file” cops face every day on the street. That becomes obvious when you look at some of the fool ideas they promote. One such fool idea is the one that allows (forces) cops to “fire warning shots” instead of shooting AT a suspect who is shooting at them. This is being discussed (and recommended by) the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP). A basic result of such a policy would be the cop hesitating while making sure a “warning shot” would not harm an innocent person and that there would be a suitable backstop for the bullet he would fire. Meanwhile the bad guy is shooting at him without considering such options. Usually, things happen so fast as to make it impossible for such "reflections" and decision making  This will, of course, result in cops being killed while they try to consider their options to stay out of trouble. Mostly this policy helps the police politicians cover their own butts in case of a questionable shooting. Shooting to wound is also not an option, since there are arteries everywhere, and a shot to the leg or arm could cause arterial bleeding that can kill in minutes. It strikes me that the only purpose of this is to give “political cover” to the brass, while making shooting incidents more difficult for the cops involved (who do not wear many stars). Insanity Is Prevailing

There are more and more people in this country who think making laws to stop honest people from getting guns for self defense is a good thing, while DISHONEST people easily get their guns illegally and are then able to victimize the honest people with their ILLEGAL guns. Politicians, from DC to LA seem to agree, and they ostracize politicians who think otherwise. Meanwhile, criminals “run wild,” killing honest people AND each other with their illegal guns. And those anti-gun politicians either do not notice, or they just can't understand that it's not the gun, it's the CRIMINAL that is the problem. We have to do something about the CRIMINALS, not the guns. If there were no guns, as there were not in Medieval times, there would still be crime. They would just be using something else as a weapon to intimidate their victims. Now Rotary International has instituted a “gun ban” for their organization. They can't get one enforced by the government, so they do the next best thing. And they really think that will do something to “stem gun violence. This is irrational thinking, but they obviously aren't aware of it. (NRA-ILA)

Liberalism Defies Logic

The things they tell us to believe are irrational and illogical. Like the idea that the rich got rich by stealing from the poor. If the poor had anything worth stealing, they aren't poor, are they? And allowing men into women's restrooms and changing rooms because a man SAYS he “identifies” as a woman. Then they make it worse by claiming that “some women have penises,: and “men can menstruate.” These are IMPOSSIBLE ideas and it takes people who aren't too intelligent to really believe them. Yet they think they're smarter than the rest of us. Then there is their assurance that their gun control laws do ANYTHING to stop, or even slow down crime. In reality, they make crime WORSE by disarming the people who OBEY the law while those who do NOT obey the law have no trouble getting guns, illegally. Their real purpose seems to be to make law-abiding people defenseless. Which is why whenever they find us having ANY kind of a weapon, they take it away from us. One such is their laws limiting us to carrying knives with only blades less than 3 inches long. Somebody came up with the idea to let people carry stun guns, and even to make them look like innocuous items such as cell phones. Now they're rushing to make laws against us being able to carry those self-defense items. And some places already have such laws. (Just common sense)

"Senator MOM?"

It's bad enough the anti-gun fools listen to this fool. But as a SENATOR? Apparently, Shannon Watts, boss of “MOMS Against Guns” (or something like that) has quietly moved from my old state, Indiana, to my new (30 years ago) home, Colorado. There are rumors that she will try to unseat Sen. Corey Gardner, senator from Colorado. It's bad enough she goes all over the country spouting her ignorant wishes to violate the Constitution's Second Amendment and make everybody who OBEYS laws defenseless against those who don't, it would be worse if she actually had the power to MAKE laws to do so. And not as a lowly representative. She's going for the whole hog; SENATOR. And it's an almost sure thing that she will have the million dollar backing of Mike Bloomberg, since she's his favorite fool, and they call Denver “The People's Republic of Denver.” And they're right, with a mayor who comes very close to declaring Denver a “sanctuary city,” and a governor likewise, that's an apt description. Although there are many human beings in Denver, as well as all over Colorado. Just not enough to actually elect intelligent people to office. So with Bloomberg's millions, she might just succeed. (shudder!) One more elected anti-gun fool meddling in our lives—as if we didn't have enough, already! (Gun-Free Zone)
