Reid Didn't Get His Way

So he blocked a vote on gun control law repeal completely (He took his ball and went home). He wanted to get “a consensus” between Democrats and Republicans on the matter but he couldn’t. So he just “shut the door” on a vote, completely. This is how Harry Reid works. If he doesn’t get ghis way, he just “shuts Republicans down,” since he is the MAJORITY leader in the Senate and controls just what, indeed, can even BE voted on. Yes, Democrats ARE in the majority in the Senate. But that should not give them the right to stop even a VOTE on various matters. That puts way too much power in one man's hands. Harry would like to be a DICTATOR, and his position in the Senate is as close as he’s ever going to get—and he’s going to make the most of it until he is voted out in an election he CAN’T control.
