The Second Amendment
What you didn’t know about the Second Amendment to the U. S. Constitution: First, it does not “give you” rights. It RECOGNIZED the fact that you HAVE those rights; second, the Second Amendment does NOT “give you” the right to carry a gun ONLY if you are a “member of an organized militia; Organized militias did not even exist at the time it was written. Then, ALL THE PEOPLE were a militia and were REQUIRED to have guns to use when called upon. Liberals keep on talking about “reasonable restrictions” on gun rights.” No such thing exists in the Constitution. It says simply, “The right to keep and hold arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!” what part of “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED” do today’s anti-gun fools not understand?
