"Backdoor" Gun Control

Doctors are now REQUIRED to “report” any patient that they think MIGHT be a danger to themselves or anybody else, or that they just can’t manage their own financial issues. Whether or not they “think” those patients need to be reported isn’t up to the doctor, it’s up to the DEFINITION of an unnamed, faceless bureaucrat who is “outside looking in.” If there’s ANY POSSIBLE CHANCE (even if the doctor doesn't think so he MUST " "report" this patient or be in trouble himself) there’s any danger the doctor MUST report him/her, even if that doctor feels that might be wrong. It’s the same way the “child protectors” get so many “reports” of child abuse by doctors, who are afraid of being punished themselves if they don’t “report,” even if they don’t believe it, themselves.
